Although musical revues typically aren't my thing, I did enjoy Hollywood Nights. It was interesting to note which franchises were highlighted, briefly flashed on the screen, or omitted. The show's cold open with the 20th Century Fox fanfare is weirdly ironic.

Since it hasn't been mentioned here yet, according to the the KI&MVRR spiel, White Water Canyon will open on Memorial Day weekend along with Soak City. WWC's reservoir is currently empty, and there appears to be some work being done on the turntable. The new railroad crossing has yet to be constructed.

As of an hour ago, there were less than 50 tickets remaining for CoasterMania, according to Tony Clark via Twitter.

The picture posted earlier in this thread showed self-scan lanes adjacent to regular lanes. Perhaps this is done so that there's a nearby associate to help those having trouble with the machine.

Last fall, the park allowed 2015 Gold & Platinum passes upgraded to either 2016 Gold or 2016 Platinum to be considered renewals. Several people doing this got the other fall renewal perks (i.e. discounted bring-a-friend & one free Fast Lane Plus). With 2016 platinum, you can easily tell if it was a renewal by checking the price on your receipt. The discounted price for renewals was $180.

I've ridden the log flume many times, and my shoes have never been excessively wet afterwards. White Water Canyon can go either way. If you taunt the tower operator and/or Thrill_Biscuit is manning the coin-operated geysers, all bets are off.

From the Carowinds event page: Drop Zone? What's that? Non-campers wouldn't have the event credential necessary to participate in activities or to remain in the park after closing.

That massive dose of food color has to end up... somewhere. As for the safety aspect, I'd be much more concerned about food dyes in beverages that are consumed much more often than novelty ice cream treats.
