I tend to just enjoy my day at the park, and tune out the other folks. I devote my attention to the friends or family that I am with. That said, I am most bothered by the parents that dump their unruly Teens at the park and leave them. Only problems we have ever incurred at the park has been caused by groups of said Teens

I can just imagine all the iRides scattered throughout the kids area right now. Nick has gone to pot.

Last I knew, the Fair Board wanted a new Hotel. Sounds like a good use.....perhaps their plan all along.

That lost all credibility when you mentioned a Horse Shoe Pit, as Horse Shoes are a lost pleasure. It's all about that lame cornhole junk nowadays.

Had to go with Other, I prefer mine Texas style. Have had Skyline and Goldstar in the past and was not impressed.

One can leave their kids at the DB exit and the ride Ops will no say a word. One can even tell the Ops they are waiting and they will allow it.

I have seen plenty of people back there taking pics and such without incident. Most likely it is blocked off for those that do not know/realize the ride is gone. I can imagine people standing outside the entrance saying "How do we get in"? Much like those trying to get on SOB.

Those poor Snipe have it hard enough already.

I think they didn't talk about the park in Kentucky because they were at Holiday World, hosting a special event, about Holiday World. No real need for them to mention it, since it is still technically in Limbo.

So, basically, Mr Hart gave the Fair Board a cool million. If BB is correct, the million wasn't used as intended. Why am I not surprised? I can't help but wonder how the park would be today, had it been originally built elsewhere. Of course, this isn't the only Park to be in Louisville and close down.

Something tells me that the toilets were filled by those that visited the park after it was abandoned. Same thing goes for some missing things.

Good report. Refills for the souvenir cup should be 1.99 no matter where you have it filled. Unless of course you go with the $5 unlimited deal.

Yeah, the problem had already been fixed by the time we saw the email.

Lodging a complaint isn't always easy. It took 3 weeks of the run a round to get our opening day snafu worked out. Was very frustrating. However, once the right person was FINALLY made aware, corrective action was swift and far beyond what we ever expected. Also, some DO take action on FB complaints.

One thing I have learned is to ignore posts made by people on the Kings Island FB page. Most of them make you wish you could reach through the monitor. Too many feel entitled or spread bad info.

For 30 bucks you can get a flash drive and a punch card for 4 pics.Careful though, because finding out one of your pics didn't get uploaded when you get home......sucks.

I'd rather make the trip to HW. I just do not expect this to end well.
