We used to call that a "Suicide" at the old 7-11 fountain machine. Of course we'd have to chisel our cups out of stone

What does a "Freestyle Coke Machine" do that makes it more excellent than a regular Coke machine?

Waiting in DB's line last weekend while the FL people rattled their jewelery as they strolled past us, I asked an elderly gentleman behind us the time. We struck up a conversation and found out he'd been going to KI since it opened and he told us wonderful stories about he and his wife's many visits. Right before we split up to go to our rows, he said his wife had cashed in her chips recently and KI helps him remember the wonderful times they had together. This wait in line is something we'll remember forever, and every time we see him we'll wave and say hello. If it weren't for the FL lords and ladies flying past us, we wouldn't have heard his whole story. People here seem to mainly be complaining about a little lost time, while KI is making money that we will eventually see become a new coaster, flat ride, attraction, or just help keep the park open. I don't really see how you can be cheated out of time. What did the old hippie say: "Be Here Now"

We were there Sunday morning. At 11:00am WindSeeker was down, Drop Tower was down, Delirium was down. The results were amazingly long lines every where else. You really don't think about how much high capacity rides like these spread out the crowds until they go down. With all 3 down at once, it was really noticeable. The line for AE was out near the entrance, FoF outside que was full too.

KI does listen. We discussed better food options last winter including offering some fresh fruit and other healthy snacks. I went to the Cocoa Cola Market place yesterday (it's outside Hanks Burrito Shack where the big Coke bottle mister was). They have iced barrels filled with individual servings of veggies and dip, FRESH FRUIT, even hummus and chips, for only $1.99. You can get an orange or an apple for a buck. I asked the worker if the healthy options were selling well and he said they all were extremely popular. KI is an amazing company and truly wonderful place to visit. The fact they listen to their customers as much as they do is something very rare for a large corporation. You will be receiving many more of our dollars. The restaurants up the road will be losing out, at least from us. Thank you.

Both my wife and I noticed how ridiculously loud the music was. When walked under ET towards the fountain, there was a large group of kids playing string instruments on the bandstand. The blaring music was so loud we walked right up to them and couldn't hear a thing they were playing. Other times we couldn't hear each other talk it was so loud. I don't ever remember it being this bad before, and I have a hearing impairment! I can't imagine how loud it was to those of you with good ears.

If your not up to a big bowl of chili cheese pasta, Skyline also sells dangerously delicious chili cheese dogs that are 2 to 3 bites of yummitude. Not sure why others are hating on our waterpark since it was completely redone this winter and no one has experienced it operating. If British guests invade KI and watch the British Invasion show, will they get sucked into a space/time Vortex? Enjoy our addiction.

The rail separating the ramps leading toward the gift shop at DB's exit are gone. The redirecting of traffic around cones to block off the old gold pass parking really seem unnecessary. (just my opinion) The waiting area for the GP during ERT is much larger. There's this incredible smell around DB's entrance of cooked meat, onions, and melted cheese! Everything is more fun this year. Because it's now!

That great big wooden structure that looks like a coaster behind Thunder Alley (the go-karts) is NOT Adventure Express!

Not to get too far off-topic, but a quick question. What local station has the most accurate forecast consistently? I like the morning personalities on 12 the most, but living in northern Cincy, I often wonder if KY based stations are as precise as OH ones. Who has the most advanced weather system? Who's gonna say it's warm enough to ride???

MUST......RIDE........COASTERS!!!!!!!!!

We'd often go check out the yellow sponge chasing a pickle to get out of the heat for a little bit..... Then, after we watched the cleaning crew in the Festhaus, we'd go see the Spongebob movie! It's a shame they don't offer the movie as a 20+ minute promo/commercial for the attraction. Isn't it the same movie Best Buy sells?

^What is this "Crypt" thing? I can't find it on the park map.

I feel the same way when I see people eating a large Larosa pepperoni pizza out in the July heat. Hot cheese in 90 degrees......Mmmmmm!

Either I've lost my mind or KI is doing some fast editing to their site. I went back to the link this morning and there is no mention of burritos anywhere. I could swear there was a reference to them. Did anyone else read about burritos yesterday?

Good to see this: http://www.visitking...ed-food-options Apparently Chipotle opening inspired KI, can't wait to try the burritos and Philly Cheesesteak. Also Gluten free pizza and fresh burgers!! Very exciting, well done(or medium rare) KI.

LOVE the pics!! thank you so much rcs for sharing these. What would be in the background today of the dolphin show shot? I'm trying to get a bearing on which direction that is. standbyme, your attention to detail is as amazing as ever. I cracked up at the thought of after an 11 hour day at the park trying to remember if we parked in "Shag Rugg" or the Hair Bear" lot.

If your going to judge people like that, please GTFO of this topic. Thanks Wow...just a joke....are you familiar with who Ron Jeremy is? I'll gladly GTFO your topic. Thanks for the pics anyway. Peace.

You'd think they'd try to keep him away from the little kids!

Let's not forget Volleyball nets with ball rentals. I'm just guessing there will be an up charge, I can't imagine they'll leave volley balls laying around and free court use. I also smell inner tube rentals in our near future. I wonder what music will be played on the train heading to SC(Soak City)? I'll miss Men at Work.

Cut two pieces the size of a thick cut french fry, pan fry them, put on a hot dog bun, add mustard, Skyline chili (available in the canned chili section of your local Kroger store) top with shredded cheddar cheese, and danged if you don't have a chili dog good enough to smack the Monty Python cast with.

^Not to mention ERT for Vortex probably had something to do with breaking the old girl's lift chain.

What an amazing shot! That's some heavy duty parading going on. I can't help but look at that shot and think, "Geez it must have been brutally hot without any trees!"

Um...I don't smoke, just a joke. Reread my post, I'm glad you and anyone else who wants to, pays for the pass. More money for the park. I'm really not sure of what I need to let go of, and what I stated I didn't like.
