I think Fast Lane is best purchased at the park. Purchasing online before you visit you could be wasting your money.

Corkscrew at Cedar Point is 37 years old this year. And they are many other older Arrow coaster coasters still in Operation. As long as they are maintained they can last quite a long time. Vortex will be around for many more years to come, unless it becomes a nightmare to maintain. That was one of the reasons why King Cobra went bye bye, it was costing too much to maintain, I know for a fact they would do welding work to the track of King Cobra on almost a daily basics.

Large Cup Freestyle at Juke Box Diner is 4.19 plus tax. 3.99 is the normal price for a large fountain drink from a non free style machine. I need to get the new cup here soon. 99 cents is much better then 4 dollars any day!

Anyone notice that the Action Zone restrooms that sit right beside the construction area has been repainted on the outside? They also took down the black cutouts on the walls outside the restrooms that were in shape of a Man for the Mens room and the Woman for the Womens room. In place of these they put up new signs that state it's the Mens room, and Womens room. This was not done on Opening day, so this has had to happen after the park opened. Yesterday was my 3rd trip to KI for the season and just noticed this!

Delirium hasn't operated right since the first major break down. MaXair at Cedar Point has a much longer cycle and swings higher and more times.

But the Fast Lane should not make the wait for the people in stand by line double. They need to make it fair, I don't mind that KI has a Fast Lane Program they just need to run it better on certain rides. I just think it's a training issue. The way you explained it for Drop Tower and Delirium seemed much better just saying!

Kings Island just don't manage Fast Lane very well. They were letting 50 Fast Lane users in at a time on DB as the main line didn't even move. That's what I don't like. It's called Fast Lane, not Walk on Lane. If we can stand in line 2 hours, they can wait 10 mins.

Actually last year was the only time ERT was an hour everyday. Before it was 30 mins Sunday thru Friday and an hour on Saturday. But I agree they need to go back to an hour. I wonder if the turn out wasn't all that great last year and that is why they changed it back to 30 mins? IDK

Uh that ride was never intended to have seat belts. Cedar Fair added seat belts to quite a few rides in 2008 that never had them. I'm glad they are gone, now if only Vortex's seat belts would go away.

I think the only reason ERT was so crazy on Saturday was because they were ALOT of passholders there early. I doubt this will be the case all year. I remember the last time they had ERT on Beast and Diamondback, you usually could get quite a few rides in!

I renewed my existing platinum pass back in February on visitkingsisland.com. My pass was scanned at the gate on Saturday as a 2012 pass. Had to over to GR and give them my confirmation number, and they pulled it up see it that I infact renew for 2013. However it took them 10 minutes to figure out how to apply my renewal to my pass. I know I wasn't the only one who had this problem. Funny thing about this is, my friends Cedar Point platinum pass which he also renewed online worked just fine. I wish they would fix these issues once and for all with these passes. I just hope I don't have any other issues this year with it, esp when I go to CP.

I just don't think they were prepared for the crowds that were at the grille yesterday, but I hope it gets better, as the food was awesome!

KI still needs to work on the Fast Lane procedures. I witness the Fast Lane line all the way at the end of the steps and wrapping around the corner, and they let them ALL Go at once. I though it was Fast Lane, and not Walk on Lane!
