During the transition from Tomb Raider to The Crypt, the front row of the gondola was removed so the gondola could be reduced in weight. This would, in theory, allow for a more acrobatic ride cycle to make up for the lost theming. The new ride cycle tore up the machinery more than the TRTR cycle so the cycle was yet again changed to the less intense two-flip cycle. If I can recall correctly, the ride opened with a two flip cycle and closed with a similar cycle. This happend way before the ride was transformed to the Crypt! Paramount was the one who reduced the rows of the gondola not Cedar Fair!

Diamondback does not have sand. It roared when it first opened, but do to complaints the wheels were changed and that's why it's not as noticeable now.

I'm sure Saturday will be INSANE! Sunday will probably be busier than a usual Sunday, I except Monday to be busy but not overly busy!

Was Fast Lane even needed on Sunday? I was at CP and the park was on the slow side, I felt sorry for the ones who wasted Money on Fast Lane, as most rides were either walk on or less than a 30 minute wait. To me that isn't worth the extra money a Fast Lane cost.

The park opens at 6pm for Friday night Haunts! If your referring to the park not opening till 7pm on Saturday the 21st, it's because the park is closed to the general public during the day for a private event. The Park opens to the public at 7pm that night for the start of Haunt!

That video was taken in the fall of 1998 while the ride was being repainted for the all new Action Zone to debut in 1999! And the ride only lasted another 3 years after.

Now Friday's Nights are far less Busier then Saturday Nights, but Friday nights are still on the crowed side!

Friday Nights are not DEAD! I have been to Haunt on Friday Nights and had to park in Over Flow parking!

Another Intamin ride down for the count? Wow, Intamin isn't having a very good year!

I know it was not the tragedy that happens, cause I used to walk up to the 50 foot platform when I was a younger, from the late 80s to the early 90's. I'm sure ADA had a lot to do with it!

It don't appear so. Last week though they said soon, So I would say it's just a matter of time! I'm sure the transfer track will be first, as these are the first pieces we have seen.

I don't see the difference with having a ride named The Demon and one being named Banshee!

Congo Falls in an Intamin!

As many rides have had on roller coasters in my life, I have never felt unsafe. I have been riding since I was just a little kid, and here I am now 33 years old! I have never been worried about a bar popping up while on a ride!

Webcams seem to be down as of 2:00pm today! They seem to be back up now!

Vekoma SLC with ah midcourse brake run? I have never seen that, nor have ridden one that had one. Most SLC are cookie cutters, which SLC has a midcourse brake?
