Is Intamin to blame for this? I'm just in shock, I wouldn't be surprised if this ride is closed for the rest of the season or even longer!

Didn't they say the boats were too heavy and that's why the ride opened late in 2010? Also why they didn't load the back row of the boats that season? Could it have been an issue with how the ride ops balanced the boat before it was sent out? They said only 7 riders were on the boat, so we know an entire row plus one seat was empty.

Ick I don't get it. I mean after walking around a park all day in hot weather you can't help to be sweaty, but not to take a shower just because is just wrong!

Don't get me wrong I enjoy Haunt, but it's also means end of the season is coming too. Hard to believe that the park has been open almost 3 month's already, boy does time go fast anymore.

I guess we shall find out soon enough, I just hope with all the suspense we are happy with what they are building.

Could they have been filed, and just not made available to the public by Kings Island's request? I'm not sure how this works? Or is this project going to be so large that it may not be for 2014 and it could be a 2015 project?

Mine is and will always be Magnum XL 200! Rode that ride for the first time in 1989 the year opened at only 9 years old! I think that is why I love my Arrow Coasters cause that's what I grew up with, and feel in love with.

They were considering using the extra Gemini trains on the Mine Ride a few years back. They even had one of the trains on the tracks for testing, but I guess they decided against it.

Yes they used to be run 3 trains per side. And yes they are one Blue train, and one Red Train that can be seen inside the Mean Streak's center.

Just think they are more then just sweat on those restraints not trying to be nasty, but think about the number of people who don't wash there hands after using the bathroom, even after #2.

A couple of weeks ago, Congo had a line extended out of the station and passed the que rails, I'm sure if it was a cooler evening that's why they were not a line for it.

I remember in 1999 when I worked at KI when the entire park lost power, I just got off work and was changing into my street close when in the locker room when the entire room went black!

If that's true, I hope it wasn't a free Fast Lane for that night? Cause they were no need for a Fast Lane yesterday at ALL! In that last 2 hours we watched the Fireworks from the top of the tower, rode Flight Deck, Invertigo, Adventure Express, Racer, Vortex x2, and The Beast x2. So that will tell you how dead the park was!

Carowinds couldn't help that a tree fell on a power line and knocked power out to the park. And power outtages and surges happen, and these parks take a lot of energy to keep them running.

Yep, not all ride were affected. All of Action Zone minus Delirium went down, and most of the coasters went down with the exception of a few! But KI did a great job on getting all the affected rides up and running again pretty quickly. I do know they had to manually lower Invertigo from the second lift hill down to the base of the hill and evack the riders off, then they must had to pull the train back up to the top and release it so it could have gotten back to the station.

The could bring back the eyes from the Son of Beast logo and use it in the new logo for the new ride? And the eyes could be RED?
