Yep, its takes a pretty big budget to keep themes working, and most seasonal parks don't have that type of budget.

Even if they did include theme, how long would it take for the theme to not work anymore?

They built over a coaster at Wonderland, so anything is possible.

Nope they do not change the parking price depending on the day! This is right off of KI's Web site. "Parking is $15 per vehicle for regular parking and $22 for preferred. A limited number of handicap parking spaces are available near the Front Gate on a first-come, first-served basis."

They do not have a buffet anymore. The Buffet was replaced with the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame Grille.

Why would be get a B&M Flyer when we already have a flying coaster, by Vekoma.

The Bring a Friend deal was also usually only for one 9.99 ticket per pass , this year a pass holder could have brought up to 4 friends with the special 9.99 price per ticket. I'm sure that's one of the reason's the park was so packed on fathers day!

Why couldn't they just set up temporary lights around the pool?

That was probably a picture of Diamond Falls that was located at KD.

It seems that may have gotten some of the lights working again. The lights on the tower were fully lit up last night.

Why doesn't this surprise me? After the day I had at KI today, one of the worst days in all my 26 years of going to that Park. I witnessed several several safety issues today!

Actually the path was just removed this week. The moved the fence but the concrete from the path was just torn up. I saw the path from the tower last Saturday!

Man I'm getting old, I rode it for the first time in April of 1993 during a pass preview day. I was 13 years old. You do the math that makes me 33 lol.

The thing of it is, when something is not maintained for how many years, it's not going to be an easy fix. Not saying it's not possible but I will take a lot of money, and I'm not sure he's going to get enough to do what needs to be done just to open the park.

The Thunder Run Train has been sitting out in the elements stripped of the seats and lap bars, it will still cost quite a bit to restore that train.

Racer and The Beast used to only have one bar that came down over both seats, and no seat belts.

The rides were not designed to have seat belts, either was Vortex. I've ridden Vortex for 20 years without seat belts, and never felt unsafe.
