Kings Island Platinum Passes do work. I have a KI Platinum Pass and never had any problem with it and FUN Perks.
As well as Plantium Passes from other Parks. My Friend's Cedar Point Platinum Pass worked with Fun Perks.
This could be because it was the first weekend, but I felt the park didn't have as much haunt stuff set up this year. The Coney Maul sign wasn't even up this year. But I'm wondering if they are going to add more stuff this and next week, before the first weekend of October?
I figured Cedar Fair would close all of the WindSeekers as a precaution. I do think these rides are flawed in some way, I also find it interesting that when these things have stalled that are not many riders on board. The ride can hold 64 riders at a time, but when the stalls have happened at either parks, they are lesst then half the max riders on the ride. I wonder if this has soemthing to do with it?
I remember when the Top Coasters were Vortex, King Cobra, The Beast, The Racer, and Adventure Express, That was back in 1991, seems like moons ago. I remember riding those over and over again as a kid.
The cost to park doesn't matter to me as I have a Platinium Pass. However I would like to see some of the money used to pay for parking reinvested int he parking lots themselfs. I know KI's could sure use alot of work.
I thought the gondola was reduced prior to the ride being named The Crypt. I thought it was Paramount who reduced the number of seats for when it was still Tomb Raider.
