  1. I'm sorry but I thought The Crypt sucked at least the last couple of seasons it operated it did. When The Crypt had the intense program it was awesome.
  2. Wow, the rides close when bad weater is approching, it was your choice to leave the park.
  3. Did the rides really only operate for 2 hours?
  4. Look as though as it won't be much longer for SS though. The Cabin is no longer parked where it usually is when the ride is not in operation. I think it will be coming down soon.
  5. Wow, I'm really sorry to hear this, I know from experience how hard it is to lose a loved one from Cancer, my thoughts are with his family and his two boys tonight. God Bless you Keith!
  6. To me it's not that big of deal. All of the park logos are the same minus the park name, but the same style of font and the flag dotting the i.

  8. They are no other coupons or discounts for Fast Lane passes other then those mentioned.
  9. Most rides operate with the exception of Planet Snoopy, and the Water Rides.
  10. It's so hard to beleive that 2013 passes are about to go on sale, and Halloween Haunt is less then a month away. Where has this season (Summer) gone?
  11. Has anyone seen any setup yet for the Haunt? We are just 4 weeks away.
  12. Uh the park is open 11am till 1am on more then just two Saturday's the fall. The park is open from 11am till 1am on the following dates 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, and 10/27.
  13. No, they are not anymore bring a friend days this year. However you can earn a bring a friend for 9.99 or even a free bring a friend ticket thru fun perks. I have both that I can use.
  14. With the Beach Waterpark being closed this season, I'm sure that is one of the factors of the bigger crowds this year, and also with the cooler weather as of the last few days, not as many people are in the water park? Or maybe everyone had the same idea you had.
  15. I'm 42% to Level 4.
  16. You used to be be able to hear Diamondback Roar from the Mcdonalds down the street from KI. So it don't Roar like it did when it first opened.
  17. They do not have fireworks during the Haunt season. I beleive Labor Day weekend is the last fireworks for the season.
  18. Vortex is not rough, yes it's an Arrow Coaster, and yes maybe some of the transistions are not the best, but I have never felt like I have been beat up after a ride on Vortex. I have been riding that sucker fo 25 years.
  19. I heard it's the wheels that cause the roar. Remember Diamondback had the B&M Roar when it first opened, but because of complaints from the house development around KI they put different wheels on it to stop it from Roaring. I doubt they filled DB's track or supports with sand.
  20. I was just looking at the operating calander on visitkingsisland.com, and it seem that now Haunt on Friday nights this year is from 6pm till 1am, instead of the usual 7pm till 1am. So looks like an extra hour as been added. http://www.visitkingsisland.com/hours-directions/kings-island
  21. MaXair has also the motor problems as well though. MaXair didn't open with the park in 2011 as they were awaiting a part. The ride was still shrinkwrapped on opening day 2011.
  22. The buliding it's self is damaged. You can see part of the siding or whatever it is ripped off, you can also see insulation sticking out. While on the ride in that very area that is damaged you can see light coming thru. I'm guess it happened during the wind storm. Its on the back side of the buliding, you can see it from AE lift, and going up Racer Lift and looking. I can also confirm that it was not stopping complety in the Midcourse yesterday on both of my rides.
  23. Has anyone noticed the damaged bulding on FoF? You can really see it when you are going up the lift on AE, or even if you look to your left when going up The Racer Lift. I'm wondering if that happened during the wind storm a few weeks back? Anyway while you are on the ride you can see visable light coming thru the area of the building that was damaged.
  24. Can someone tell me why MaXair runs totally different then, when it's the same exact model of ride? Also MaXair seems to swing much higher, and swing at highest swing more times.
  25. I would love to take another close up look of SOB before it's gone.
