Anyone think that since Cedar Fair introduced the easy pay plan for Season Passes this year, that maybe they are alot more Season Pass holders this year? I couldn't beleive how packed the water park was for the Gold/Platinium Pass preview. And with The Beach Waterpark being closed this year, I think this will be a Record year for KI.

Article title is kinda misleading too. Makes it sound like the water park won't open till repairs are made, as in like the water park will not be open this weekend. I hate when newspapers do that.

They sure made sure CP's WindSeeker was equipped with it's modifacations before the park opened on May 12th.

I think everything is coming to factor to the increased wait times. Before Fast Lane and with assigned seats a full que on DB was only 45 minutes. This past Saturday Full Que was almost 90 mintues. But they were empty seats on every train, and almost every train stacked before the train in the staion was dispatched. I wish KI ride ops would get the trains out like CP does.

Vortex rough, I beg to differ. Is it glass smooth like today's B & M's and Intiamin steel coasters no, but it's an old school Arrow, and still one of the best Arrow Loopers around.

Panda express don't count cause it's not ran by the park, and I think Chick fil a don't count either.

They must have just raised the price, Cedar Point's website is also saying it's 179 for a Platinium Pass.

I paid 169 for mine at KI before the start of the season.

I have verizon and have never had a problem with using data inside the park.

It did that before the last time right before the Motor went out. Rememeber when it down for several months? Lets hope that doesn't happen again. They just replaced a major part on MaXair last year for the same reason.

I honestly think CP needs to Limit how many times someone can ride thru Fast Lane at certain rides, like what KD did with Volcano. YOu should have seen the Fast Lane line for Maverick, INSANE!

I'm so tired of hearing people complain about Fast Lane, and the new premium Parking at CP. GET OVER IT!

Yes it's been announced, it's on the parks website under gold pass perks, it has has also been on the parks twitter page.

huh, how are the passes paper? I would like to see that hold up.

I got first public train on Vortex in my favorite seat as well, 7-1.

From what I've seen they'll still have their usual fare as well. From what I could tell yesterday, they do nothave the usual fare at Hanks anymore, I thought orginally they were going to keep the fish and srimp but apparently not.

Do you have pass ID card from last year? If so they can use that same ID for this years pass without getting your picture retaken, or you can take advantage of the instant renewal.

Ya I'm a little disapointed that they added the opition after I drove 2 hours down to the park and 2 hours back home from the park to get my Platinium Pass renewed.

That picture of Flight Commander is not the actually Flight Commander that was at KI. Now the one that they show them doing the investagion on after the lady fell out was the Flight Commander at KI.
