  1. Big Bundle of Nope. The Racer, in its form was the powder keg of the nex gen coaster age. The Beast, in its form, is the longest wooden coaster. If RMC gives it some "love" we will not have any kind of woodie coaster. Woodies are starting to disappear from a chain already, don't let it spread.
  2. I smell a bulk purchase of those loopy loopy coasters. I wouldn't be surprised if we get an installation at each park
  3. Now, I laugh, tee-hee. SIX made a few flats, some find mediocre, others, amazing. Good play.
  4. I'm going to guess the dimensions of the coaster, fit for a King?
  5. Hold on, do you mean Coasters.Net? (Sarcasm, sorry Goble, I know! And thanks anyways!) I actually found this site out of pure curiosity, seems old by the texts there. Now, on the topic of the Super Loop, that is a very odd addition, but it could be plausible. Let's face it, no theme park, or amusement park for that matter, that is perennial and sticks to one spot, has one of these. But at the same time, is this really a bad move? They are actually interesting, and if large enough, could pack a thrill that would suit the SIX method.
  6. Six Flags just took out a moderate reviewed coaster (from what I have heard of it, I have never stepped foot into a SIX park, yet), so I have no doubt that we may be looking at some thing to do with a RMC "woodie"*. As for the rest, hey heck I don't know, Six Flags looks like they could pack in a great year for their parks, and I do hope that they could really bring a hit with this Justice League idea. *"Woodie" as in hey look ma, no wood!

    Next New Ride?

Irish? How about no, I like German, I like Germanic stuff, it's pushing it to see a pirate ship and a jungle mine in a German place, with a big v shaped contraption next to an Celtic legend. I miss the old sign, I want to eat reubens at Oktoberfest, I want to eat sauerkraut at Oktoberfest like I do at the Hoffbrauhaus. I don't want Italian/Chinese/Boy Band rock at a dining hall fit for a lavish German Kaiser. Give me a dwarf mine ride, give me a literal viking ship, give me a train set at the Sling Shot. (Yes, a train set, with all the bells and whistles!) But hey, I'm used to theme parks and Kings Island is becoming more and more of an Amusement park by the second.
  8. I wonder what will be filling the Cirque Imagine spot for Haunt, Cirque Des Morts? If so, I could see some humor in seeing people get scared while watching the show.
  9. Guests indeed wear some odd things(like that)......and some say odder things....... BB1, cross threadin'
  10. Hey, who said I was calling this a bad thing? Things you find only in KY are some of the special things I love. It's the good kind of country folk you can find in some of the most unlikely places. For example, right down the road from KK is Mike Linning's, the best fish restaurant in my opinion south of the river and north of the mason dixon.
  11. Le first drop (man)Hey would you huhuhuhuhuhuuhuhuhuhuhuh ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow......... Le second chain link up: (Woman) now what were you saying? (man) I know we've been together for a long time and I have finally found that, well, would you (que the helices) ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow....... Le brake run after stop: (man) I give up!
  12. I would think that The Beast would be another attraction located at Kings Island that one would not pop the question on.

    Dippin' Dots

The first time I have ever heard of Dippin' Dots was in the early 2000's at Newport Aquarium. Later on, I began to see them everywhere, KI, NPA, and now in malls. But there is one keen difference, one was bagged, straight from the factory, the other is served open cup. Which version do you prefer? Better yet, would you prefer for your Dippin' Dots to be bagged at the park too, with multiple machines throughout the park without the Dippin' Dots Guy? For nostalgia purposes, I choose the bagged version, but I'm not so sure about the machines at the park.
  14. Can I scream like a Banshee on that too? I love the interesting concepts that they have done in the years, amazing innovations in what I remember only in small packages in Newport Aquarium.
  15. Let's see here:Boston has some old things and a harbor that had a wonderful tea time. Los Angeles (or something) is the city of angels. Denver is high. (Pun taken from an American Eagle shirt) Chicago has some blood that was lost to the wind. And Cincinnati is the Queen City, a major spot of commerce both in and around its region. As well, being the birthplace of the golden age of coasters with The Racer, and Kings Island. (Technically) I think not.
  16. Edited for topic quality. Sorry about that, using some txt language while on the phone. Trying to break the habit!
  17. I would think that the LifeGuards are going to be transferred to be security for KSF. Maybe, maybe not.
  18. Kings Island is in Ohio; any Indiana regulations are not applicable. How does the Indiana Liquor sales and Chik-Fil-A closing on Sunday affect the fireworks show? (I'm just curious on your inquiry) Definitely get on to either The Beast or The Racer for a prime show of the fireworks. Although, personally, the first fireworks show of the year is the best; possibly from the long dormancy?
  19. (I knew it was somewhere in the 2016-2018 time frame.) But even then, since we are talking about hypotheticals here, I could see Mr. Ouimet doing something with the themes that were originally there. Heck, we could have possibly seen the full Top Gun theme back from the olden days in 2007.
  20. If I am correct, doesn't Cedar Fair have licensing towards Paramount names, logos, themes, effects, & props until 2016(edited from the response below)? Therefore creating an idea that Mr. Ouimet could have integrated their themes even with the, at the time, new Cedar Fair spearhead effort to "clean up" the Island.
  21. I wish I could make it! Work was in the way and I was far too tired after to go to the park after. It sounds like you all had a great time, thanks for the TR!
  22. So, should we just marathon Woodstock Express for an hour to give it the attention it deserves?I'm excited, also glad for KI to finally get a coaster event unilaterally rather than meet ups and MDs.
