  1. I took the faceoff route. We just ate at the new Reds Grille, and I loved it! Our server was great, and so was the food and the atmosphere. He definitely earned his tip.
  2. Were still in line for Invertigo...they need to put some music in the queue, because there seems to be a problem with the ride. Even the Fast Lane has a line. Terp, its pretty crowded, but dinner hour is upon us, so people will start heading out soon. Its an overcast day with highs in the low 60s.
  3. He won .. Darn him! we're now at Invertigo, and we have seen so many different people in this line. I will never fully understand other people.
  4. ^ that would be dangerous! Beast is running really welll as always. Now were in line for Boo Blasters. Im challenging my friend to see who gets the higher score. this should be interesting.
  5. Hey all! Today I will be doing a live ptr from ki! I'm currently in line for The Beast! Follow along on this amazing journey!
  6. I don't think so...just think about that, a whole ride based off of an attraction that only runs for four weekends a year? Not too feasible..
  7. ^ It's not really that, but it's your constant persistance that this construction is most definitely a B & M giga coaster and that there is nothing else about it that is making your talk of coaster color "taboo."
  8. Just some advice, man: You'd better stop while you're still in good standing.
  9. You bring up an interesting point. Now that the park is open daily, wouldn't it make sense to see construction crews working on the site in the process of building this unknown object? Granted, I haven't been to the park yet this year and also know nothing about the process of construction, but would they not be digging more footers and going on with construction everyday if they were building a coaster? Something just doesn't add up here. If this is a coaster, then it's not like Diamondback, comparing the number of footers and the different signs that we've seen. There will be something built there, but the finished product may be something very unexpected.* *Note: I know no inside information at all about the current construction going on in "The Graveyard."
  10. Just saw this tweet: https://twitter.com/KingsIslandPR/status/336482293747159040 Interesting.
  11. The NHL Playoffs are ruling my life.

  12. If the political correctness reasoning is true, then why would FUN be bringing back a potentially controversial name in a time where sports teams are being forced to change their long-standing team monikers and logos due to this reason, among other issues? Also, the naming of a ride can really affect the attitude it gives off. For example, we have Boo Blasters on Boo Hill at KI, but not everyone likes this name because they liked its former name, Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle. Nothing really changed in the ride with the name change except for theming. It has the same objective, but some people just refuse to ride because the name is not the same as it was before.
  13. As do I...it's taken ahold of my computer time during class, which is both good and bad. My two cents: If the Intamin breaks down more, wouldn't that remind people of the ride that previously roamed that land clearing? And with B & M, there's nothing wrong with putting in another coaster of the same maker in a park. Now, if the next coaster after this unknown identity is another B & M, then we have a problem.
  14. Good point. This is what happens when you post after midnight.
  15. Post removed due to lack of depth perception.
  16. Nice TR! I like the blue heron picture. And I believe that the season pass bit was already mentioned, but I could be wrong. Where did you eat? I want to do something new when I go on Saturday.
  17. I have two stories for you. One is when I was in Slaughterhouse during Haunt. My group was making quick time and having fun with the maze, but there were these boys behind our group that might have been ten or so. Anyway, they were really nervous and just being bad, so everytime a scareactor or Sam the Butcher jumped out at them, they would scream and then curse at the actors like it was a routine thing. Seriously, didn't their mothers give them the ol' bar of soap? The other took place in the FoF saucer. As we were in line, these...let's just call them "cool" guys(think of your own negative name) who were in front of us were harassing these two girls about my age, asking inappropriate questions and being very rude. My friend and I scared them off. Here's the embarrassing part, though: as my friend and I were talking to the girls, and my friend, for some reason, decided to guess their ages, and he was off by many years, and they weren't exactly too happy with us. I guess that's just what friends do, though.

  19. The mother in the article sounds like she is one of those stuck up people who only look out for themselves. This is a joke, I can't believe that people would fake a disabled person just to ride a ride but I can believe it.
  20. Aced your quiz...you should PM an admin and see if something like that can be put as a requirement to join KIC, it's a great idea.
  21. I agree with the large part, the amount of land created by the SOB demolishing is massive. I hope they can use the whole terrain.
  22. I have to stop reading these TR's...they're making me want to go even more!! Great job, hopefully I can meet some KICers one day.
  23. I'm liking everything that you guys are saying, but I'm going to suggest a little, possibly disenchanting idea. I don't think I've seen anyone on this thread mention the possibility of a wild mouse coaster being built. I'd love a giga as much as many of you would, but some of the footers are pretty close together, and it doesn't look like there's too much room for a big station or train storage. I'm most likely wrong on this, but its just an idea from left field.
  24. A bumblebee. Flying around on an inverted B&M themed to a bee, named Stinger. I'd think, you would be getting a call from the Columbus Blue Jackets to turn it into a hockey themed coaster showing their pride and joy mascot. Yup, you guessed it, "Stinger". Edit - well this was a pointless post. I overlooked, Jr for Birdy already brought up stinger and the Jackets. Whoops You guys are forgetting the old Cincinnati Stingers of the 1970's WHA...come on, men! I would adore a hockey-themed coaster, though. Anyway, I believe that this sign just opens up a whole new barrel of monkeys that could mean anything or nothing at all. I am excited, but I don't want to jump to conclusions. I like reading all of your ideas, however far-fetched or reasonable they may be. It's an interesting time at KI.
  25. 1) Vortex 2) The Beast 3) Diamondback 4) Invertigo 5) Adventure Express 6) Flight of Fear 7) Firehawk 8) The Racer 9) Flight Deck 10) Woodstock Express Honorable Mention: Flying Ace Aerial Chase
