This is for all Cedar Fair: Try to figure out ALL of the problems with the WindSeekers, and make the necessary adjustments, no matter how long it takes. I really like WS, and I hope they can find a permanent solution to the ride.

I really enjoyed the program. I just wasn't able to go enough/forgot to fork over my gold pass in order to receive many points. The rewards were nice, but my family and I simply didn't get a chance to use our Perks. I think that if they could improve anything with the whole program, I think it would be having the employees ask if you are registered for Fun Perks after you've paid in order to receive the points possible. I'm sure that wouldn't be too hard.

I'm not a financial wizard. But from looking at user Gordon Bombay's photos of the park from earlier this year (http://queencitydisc...walk-rises.html), it seems that they would need maybe $25 million, possibly more. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but that number seems correct.

^Yes, that's true. I can understand the wolves snarling, but one of the cowboys in Tombstone Terror-Tory?

You guys are awesome. Just one question: why do most of the actors snarl? Like in Tombstone Terror-Tory, some of the cowboys snarled at us. Didn't know that cowboys snarled. -
Awesome. Just one question: Why does almost every actor snarl? We met a guy dressed as some type of lizard, and he snarled. Doesn't make much sense.

There was a shorter guy walking on stilts around AZ, and I stood next to him. He turned around and noticed that I was as tall as him. When I get the picture from my friend, I'll show you all. All 3 shows were great! Also, the leaf camoflauged guy by DB hid behind a tree next to Rivertown Junction, and sent a girl to the ground by simply saying a robotic "Boop!" He was great, as well as the guy at the front. "Can I help you...into a coffin? Bahahah!" "Take a picture...it will last longer than YOU!"

Was it you working on Saturday night the 16th at about 10? I remember my friend told the chainsaw guy about a joke she made to the guy holding the chicken, and she was told that she was the 45th person to make that joke!

I went to Haunt Saturday as well, but mostly went in the mazes with friends. (This was my first time in ANY of the mazes, by the way.) We only went in five mazes, and they are ranked from most to least frightening. 1. Wolf Pack - They fit all of that into a rollercoaster station?!? Neato. Plus, the actors made me scream. Bonus points! 2. Madame Fatale's Cavern of Terror - Really loved the new idea of a wax museum haunt. Kept me guesing. Only complaint was that to me, the Crypt theming in the queue didn't exactly fit. 3. Tombstone Terror-Tory - Zombie cowboys/westerners? Don't know about that. 4. Slaughter House - Great actors, but juust a little too gory for me. Plus, my experience was hindered by a group of 10-year olds behind us who kept cussing out the scare actors. 5. CornStalkers - Simply didn't scare me as much as some of the other mazes. The walking actors were great as well. One lady jumped out behind a gravestone and yelled at a fellow teen who happened to be texting. He started running, and my friends and I couldn't control our laughter. Great night! -
There will be new rumors for the "future park expansion" in 2013. I can just see it now: a new member on here posts a topic about how they heard about a 666 ft. tall, 12-inversion Intamin coaster coming to KI in 2014 named Devil.

To me, Zephyr has always smelled like vomit.

Review sheets give me the willies

I heard that in class today. Coincidence? I think not.

Back on the topic of removal, is it true that Thunder Alley will be making an exit as well?
-
Well, it's going down now. Just stop the topic.

Anyone else notice that lady was carrying a Paramount Parks cup?

Hey everyone, I'm back from a 2 month long hiatus...any news on the whereabouts of highlighter hair? Anyway, it's sad to see it go, but its time for it to go. Just curious, will Wolf Pack still be open at Halloween Haunt? I imagine yes, if someone hasn't already answered this for me.

Just checked the webcam. DB and WindSeeker aren't running today, but WindSeeker is about 3/4ths of the way up the tower.

Monday and Tuesday will be great for you. Most of the kids (including me) are still in school. Have fun!

My six year old son's first rides on Vortex and the Beast
Diamondbacker replied to RD Reynolds's topic in Trip Reports
I can't wait for the first time that I take my dad on Diamondback. He's gonna love it. Not as good as a father taking his son for a first ride, but pretty cool. -
But you didn't say whether it would be Intamin or a B and M. Or even a Vekoma Definitely Intamin. KI needs an Intamin to go with Diamondback (B & M).

Are there underground storm shelters at KI?

Well since we all "know" SoB's imminent fate, we must move on from this thread. I have one question, though. A post earlier in this forum talked about wooden hyper coasters and looping woodies. Do you think that with the failure of SoB, we won't see another looping woodie or wooden hyper coaster again? I think that if the project was put into the right hands (ex. Gravity Group), we might see one of these two again. I think that if Gravity Group built something like SoB they would do a great job with it. They would make sure that a coaster of that size would be safe to ride and would not cause problems. I'm not exactly sure about the loop, though. Supposedly SoB's loop caused so much wear and tear to the rest of the track, hence why it was removed. It would be really cool to see, but it won't happen.
