I jump on DB every time the family and I show up for early ride time! Its perfect, the wife and younger kids are at Planet Snoopy, I meet them after early ride time while the older kids head to X-Base. I love DB location. O.K, I wont lie! Sometimes I sneak off to X-Base to, but then I catch up with the little ones! Haha

Every time I peak through the fence by the no camping signs I'm the only moron doing it! We are a very small group who really care to that degree. To quote my oldest kid " Do you really care that much, it will be here soon enough!". I said before, I'm the biggest kid in the family! By the way, I quit looking through the fence, sometimes your own kid can....... 'check you!'.

That's something parents need to consider that I bet many don't, ride stops and needs evac? I've seen healthy minded folks freaking out, that could cause some serious issues for anybody not mentally stable.

I noticed the other night in front of Vortex and DB they had a wheel you could spin to win prizes like front of line passes, popcorn, etc. for 2 dollars a spin. Have they done this before? I'm guessing they have but I just never paid any attention? I would have played but I rarely carry cash and I don't bank with Huntington, hate to pay withdrawal fees (another pet peeve!).

I would have to agree with what Medford said about Snoopy's 'where did my kid go' splash pad. I'm also not a big fan of the final break on FOF (whiplash feel to it). I still like FOF and still ride it though. I cant really think of any rides other than Mean Streak that I don't care for. By the way, my last Mean Streak ride was in 1996. It just wasn't fun, kind of like how I felt about The Beast in fall of 2011. The Beast feels great now.

I also know sometimes contractors think there building one thing but in fact its something totally different. That's as far as I can go on this subject without my doorbell ringing at 6am! My kids are asleep and I know the line!

They don't see anything, its all a guessing game. I never worked on coaster projects but I know something about much bigger projects, including general foreman who were given a hand written picture of where footers go without ever seeing a blueprint or anything else. Cant give details or I would, even years later!
