I had my first Delirium ride this season yesterday. I agree, it was my favorite ride of the day too. I had my first night ride on Firehawk which was pretty fun, only a 10 minute wait. I think everyone was riding DB and Beast at that point, since I have had my share of night rides on both I'm going to ride Firehawk and FOF before close the rest of the year. My last two visits there lines seem to just drop off after 9:30.

I liked LaRosas at Kings Island in the 1980's. It was so much better than today, but like most big chains they get cheaper and smaller products as the years pass. Donatos pizza and subs are the worst, was my favorite growing up and now there product is garbage. Pizza is nothing what it was and the Big Don sub is half the size and taste is nothing compared to two decades ago.

Yesterday The Beast ride-op asked everyone what was better, Subway or Jimmy Johns, the majority said Jimmy Johns and he then continued to tell us how we were all wrong that Subway is much better! I still strongly disagree, however Jimmy Johns has a love thing for mayonnaise on everything for some reason? Yuck.

Note to self.....Go to Kings Island Monday evening, do not forget!

I have been at KI when they shut down rides while I was getting a suntan sitting in a chair at Soak City! I asked a lifeguard why everything was shut down and she said something about a storm with in I think it was a 20 or 30 mile radius? I might be way off on the miles so somebody correct me. I don't know about FOF that day but Soak City stopped the wave pools and slides and we could see DB shut down, it was so sunny out so everyone was confused around us until I decided to ask.

Well, I obviously don't know what it is, so I have no idea if that makes me a moron or not. Maybe it would help if you could point out which of us are morons and which of us aren't. If it turns out my name is on your "Morons" list, then I'll be happy to crawl back into my hole and remain a silent lurker. Please let us know. I learned more from Terps one post than all the others combined on this thread (the footers is only thing interesting otherwise). I use the word moron with a smile and a laugh not to be taken serious (sorry). Shucks, I'm probably the biggest moron on here!
-
Here is my crazy idea! Maybe we should read what Terp says over and over before we post ! Hello! He is one of few who knows, Morons! Sorry, this post is for just the Morons who post but don't know any better! I just had to comment, crawling in my shell again people, no hard feelings!

I was there too, Cant wait to read your reports! The ride-op blocked the entrance for FOF before Time! I was very upset and wish I got her name! Fire her now! Just kidding, but we were pretty upset because Firehawk ride-op didn't close early like she did, and that was the only coaster we missed today! Other than that, It was a wonderful night in the park! I also noticed Congo Falls ride-ops were really boring and acted like they could careless to be there(I guess that means they care some right Terp!). We rode multiple times and all three of them had 'Whatever like attitudes'! They need some cheering up over there!

With a name like Big Sexy I figured you were maybe a Harley kind of guy, boy was I wrong! Perhaps you should sit in the odd number seats on DB like the ladies in my family prefer, leave those outside seats to the people who enjoy that very slight vibration. On another note, I heard some ride-ops today talking about they're hearing its an Invert, however I never made it to the dipping dots gal to confirm anything due to high pressure from a little me to hurry up we got to hit every coaster tonight! Sorry to chime in, I will grab some popcorn now too! Literally, I'm heating it now!

Young'uns do get something new. They eventually are tall enough to ride the bigger rides which are new to them. New little kids replace the ones that are tall enough for bigger rides, so everything in Planet Snoopy is new to them. It's a cycle. Hmm? My 4 year old loved her Planet Snoopy last year, now she would rather go to the bounce house! If you don't have kids ,don't speak for them! I get what you saying though.

I should add the fact that we watched the fireworks from below the Tower because she has a fear of elevators not heights, yet I'm the one who has been stuck in an elevator for hours while fearing for my life at the same time, yet she has the phobia! Its pretty funny and she doesn't like it when I mention it, I just kid with her, we all have a weakness. (mine is Mosquitos!)

The wife and I showed up right after 8pm to ride a few rides and to our surprise everything was either a walk on or close to it! I remember that puddle, my wife tip-toed through it while I was cracking up laughing at her, She wouldn't ride it twice because of that stupid puddle! I think I seen you and your Mom walking through Coney Mall in blue rain jackets, just from seeing photos. That was a great night for some serious coaster riding! We got several rides in and even had 2 BLSC trains front row to ourselves! We watched the fireworks from below the Tower (She wont go up there, chicken!). Great trip report, I had to comment after you mentioned THE PUDDLE!

Sigh.... Never mind. I give up!

If somebody doesn't start a new thread stating don't post anything outside of new events involving our new ride, I guess I will later this week! I like everyone's ideas but I'm sick of not hearing anything new every time I read this topic because I don't want to miss anything, but it's really starting to remind me of the S.O.B thread and its getting old and boring! Not that I wont read this topic but we do need a topic with new stuff ONLY!

My experience with ride-ops at both parks is night and day. Kings Island's seem to have a far better attitude than CPs and I could give several examples but I will give two. I had my skin pinched really bad by a ride-op on Raptor and he was in such a hurry he didn't say sorry or nothing and just kept on his busy way, and yes he knew he hurt me pretty good! My last ride on DB it was a bit chilly out and my seat was soaked from a previous rider, I asked the ride-op if he had a towel or anything because I was wearing jeans and he immediately jumped in my seat and dried it off with his clothes! I'm sure that young man has a bright future and I know I will always remember him doing that for me (I was shocked and said thank you twice)! I know everyone has good and bad days but over all I love the way my family is treated by KI ride-ops.

I listen to everything but usually only late at night sometimes and when I'm cutting the grass or working out. I listen to more and more talk radio the older I get. Gosh, I'm turning into my old man!

I like to mix it up, I eat whatever I'm craving usually. jcgoble3,they have the Ribs on the appetizer menu, just the right amount at the right price, I don't like to get full at amusement parks.

I was out of town all week. My perfect timing I guess! I'm pretty sure Don didn't know we were getting a coaster(if we are, I haven't read anything but the two above posts!) at the time he told me we wouldn't for a few years. I enjoy sarcasm so let me just say if we do get a coaster it will be the best lie I ever heard!
-
I hope its not a coaster, only because I don't like to be lied to. If you don't see me posting in the next few months you know why! I was told by Don last season that Kings Island wouldn't see a new coaster for a few years! If I cant trust him? I guess it is what it is? Lies!

I hope it thins out the Soak City crowds some? For some reason I highly doubt it though. -
Yeah, I seem to recall them not selling alcohol anywhere last year during those times? I remember some old timer not to happy about it. I remember the weirdest things for some odd reason. I do agree its probably for the best.

Its going to be like Raptor, cant go wrong! I don't see 300ft,just my opinion, right or wrong I can ride whatever!

I was told on opening day by our bartender that the Reds Grille was planning on getting a liquor license soon, but until then only beer and wine. We asked because the only time we drink at the park is on the fourth of July when we get a hotel and a cab or shuttle.

I have no idea how teenagers today can afford to drive anywhere? I worked two jobs in high school and remember hating to fill my tank and that was in the early 90's!We have two decent incomes now and I dread getting gas, I hope gas is a thing of the past when my kids can drive!
