Don't leave anything you care to keep unattended or be the first to post the yearly, ' My stuff was stolen at Soak City' topic.

The wife and I found an envelope with two names on it with a wad of cash in it on The Beast train. We assumed it was money for kids their parent probably gave them. We gave it to a ride-op. If it had not been in an envelope and just sitting cash with nobody asking around or looking for it, Fastlane Plus baby!!!!! That's me speaking, my wife would probably give it to a ride-op anyways because she's a better human being than myself. Wait...she doesn't read this forum, she'd turn it in because she's stupid!

Everyone has their deal, some don't like bugs, heights, elevators, some don't like germs. I'm extremely outgoing and spark conversation with strangers often, yet I'm not big on touching strangers, something about the thought of people wiping their butts and not washing their hands or anything related to that nature makes me grossed out. I also don't touch bathroom doors if possible outside my home knowing half the people don't wash their hands and just had their hand on their- you get the point. If you introduce yourself and offer a handshake I'm not going to deny you or anything awkward, but I do wash my hands regularly and I try not to touch things I know everyone has had their hands on unless necessary. In general, some people are disgusting, and don't understand good hygiene.

The first week Zoombezi Bay opened, we went down all the inner tube slides backwards several times over on two different visits. In fact, the ride ops being new actually encouraged it and said how much more fun it was going backwards! The higher ups of course put an end to this very quickly, which I knew it was just a matter of time but took full advantage while it lasted. This experience has pretty much ruined water slides for me now, but I do miss Zoombezi, especially being so close to the house but Soak City comes with our passes so we only visit the zoo. Let me tell you, going down them slides backwards was insanely fun, now I miss The Racer backwards all the sudden.,

I hit em with the fist bump. I have noticed this high five fad this season. I only shake hands if it involves making money or out of respect in some cases, otherwise depending on who you are, it's a hug (family/friends) or a fist bump!

Did we see the birth of a new tasty tradition at KI?
Jr for Birdy replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
In the past, you can also get a large cup of ice water in the fudge shop on a hot day. I haven't needed one yet this season but has always been my go to instead of the baby cups you get everywhere else. You could also get a free sample of fudge, we sometimes buy fudge for the ride home, I think the kids will need a fudge pop next visit ( especially this one). -
You had me at Shmidt's, you had me at Shmidt's.

Just stay far from the Columbus Zoo Thursday, unless you enjoy standing 20 people deep to peak at animals. Jr.. who would love to be standing in lines at KI all day Thursday, but will deal with chaos instead, more than likely.

We enjoy the "woot woot" from the Woodstock Express ride-ops on dispatch, we always chant it back. It's becoming a tradition I believe the last year or two.

I can't remember how comfortable the bed was when I stayed at the Super 8 in Mason??? Jr.. who once remembered last call at the Thirsty's Oasis.

"Your honor, we believe the defendant has been posting false information about WindSeeker being down during the operation season of 2014.It is true that he is only 14 years old but we take this stuff very seriously". Judge replies," Guilty! I hereby sentence you to no Banshee rides for 30 days, and no Banshee twist, as matter of fact your band from Action Zone just for having green hair!" G, I hope this post doesn't get deleted as well, the one that did was probably the most serious, honest to God truth I have ever posted on this sight, but I get it, I truly get it. We must bow before the almighty Kings Island PR.

Never had a problem with personal space being violated. I do however can't stand being in line with people who stink. Seriously, there was a woman in line for The Beast last season we had to smell for over an hour, it was disgusting. It was not from just being at the park, it was bad from not bathing ever, perfume never, and having never purchased a stick or in her case a log of deodorant in her entire life. It was so bad everyone behind knew why we kept a clear distance from her, how her friends could stand it I haven't a clue, I would have puked riding in a car with her. SO PLEASE, for the love of humanity, don't be that person who smells!

It's funny, I never really looked at people catching up with their family or friends as line jumping, probably since I've seen it done a thousand times at parks all over my entire life. It really bothers many of you pretty bad, glad we as a family always wait and walk in together! I'm still not going to let it ruin my day when I see it done, and I refuse to tattle tale over something so silly, at least silly to me, I'm just glad to be alive and enjoying being in an amusement park to worry about something so small.

I really wish Boo Blaster would get a peanuts theme...
Jr for Birdy replied to Screaming_Chicken's topic in Kings Island
They can say Boo Blasters is on IStreet if they want, but it's the first ride my kids see before they get measured for height right next to it. It's in Planet Snoopy as far as we can tell, and it's junk. We use it to cool off and that's only when we don't bring the three year old who was fine until the skeletons scared the snot out of her, literally. There is a great spot to stand and let the AC blast you cool right before you reach the ride-op to let you back by the ride. It's my favorite spot to cool off in the park! -
Kings Island reveals statue honoring child with cancer
Jr for Birdy replied to CoastersRZ's topic in Kings Island
I literally just shed a tear, doesn't happen often. Nothing else I can say but prayers for his family and thank God for Kings Island. -
I wouldn't let my kids go to an event without me or where I didn't know anyone personally either, your fathers a wise man, you'll understand one day.
-
S.O.B, for my first time riding both coasters. It was very intimidating for a wood coaster on your first ride, I remember going up the lift thinking this is The Beast on steroids! Banshee, I was excited for my first ride but it didn't have my heart beating faster like SOB that first time. If you ask me after the first ride I would take Banshee any day.
-
I can see how my post could be read not the way I intended, what I meant was anyone who thinks the ride-ops don't have access to water is STUPID!
-
The can of worms have been opened, here we go!
-
They were passing out water on opening day to guests in line for Banshee, ride-ops not being permitted water is absolutely ridiculous, their not running a sweat shop for crying out loud!
-
I know nobody would say anything if I shared with my little girl, but it's the principle!
-
If sharing with my 3 year old daughter would be an issue, I would rather not spend a penny on food in the park. My wife loves going to Bob Evans on Tuesdays because kids eat free, but when I get the bill it's about what we would pay to eat at most places, since the kids eat free, we order desserts or soups that we normally might not purchase. Take the Reds Grille for instance, if I wasn't getting charged 7.99 for my kids to eat, I'm more than likely to order ribs, appetizer, etc... Not that kids could eat free there, that would be a mess, but maybe have a younger kids meal where they get their own food for under 5 dollars, make it the 5 and under for 5 dollars meal?
-
The sharing of the Dining Plan options is not permitted by guests. I guess this means you can't share with your young children, what a shame. We know how to eat in the parking lot. This doesn't surprise me either considering you charge parents 7.99 for a kids meal at the Reds Grille.
-
I agree, the teenagers I bring to the park know better than to line jump, but if one did and I seen a grown man yelling at one of them. Not gonna be a pretty sight. That's why I say to just get over it, or let security or an officer handle the situation. Complain to guests services about your issues.
