For a minute there, I thought you were serious.

This is who I think is who, from left to right: jcgoble, ???, ohiocolts, malem?, MotherofOcolts, Beastie. If I got it totally wrong, I apologize. The only one I am certain about is Beastie, for obvious reasons. EDIT: And for whoever is wearing the Crypt shirt, you're awesome.

^I would restate that before You Know Who arrives.

*cough* Full scale woodie *un-cough*

^Did you pay $125 for it?

I think Robbie summed this up best. Paint and decorations won't cut it.

The smell of Tunnel 2 on Adventure Express, chlorine from the various water rides, and the smell of funnel cakes drifting on to the midways all remind me I'm home.

The park is where I got my Vortex poster. The Emporium at the end of International Street, to be exact. Last I checked, they sell Vortex, Diamondback, and The Beast posters.

No doubt Kings Island is charging more money than they were manufactured for, but keep in mind they are making very little money off these items. At least, relatively speaking. I see this as a nice gesture put forth by the park, to give it's fans and lovers of all things Kings Island a memento of the world's tallest, fastest, only looping wooden roller coaster.

Great. Sounds like FUN. Crypt, a fan of double entendres.

Very nice pictures! I particularly like love The Racer picture, presumably taken from the Dinosaurs Alive! attraction. The Congo Falls and Rivertown landscaping pictures are also great. Thanks for sharing!

During Halloweekends, not at Holiday World.

What will the crowds look like for Saturday? I'm going there this upcoming Saturday, and I am fully aware it will be crowded as all get out. However, I'm not sure how crowded it will be. Sorry for hijacking your thread, Dustin.

I hate the route to Cedar Point. It's all farm after farm after farm, which gets boring when it's 3 hours of it!

We will post photos of the bolt and wood before the end of the week. That is, if there's any left! I seriously hope there will be some, though. I have been frantically searching for the funds to buy at least a bolt.

Making baby cribs. Poor babies.

Makes me wonder... Who will get "first dibs"? Park employees, contest through Twitter, or opening up the auction to everyone at once. Also, I'm sure if the park were to sell cars, lapbars, logos used on the ride, etc would also rake in some money for the park.

Carowinds was the flagship park under the Paramount moniker. Title does not constitute disrespect.

40 minutes. I basically take 48 almost all the way to Kings Island, getting on the highway for about a minute.

How can 2005 and 2006 be the reign of CBS, when I thought CBS bought Paramount in 1994? Perhaps my "facts" are mistaken?
-
Paramount were terrible park operators. Unfriendly employees, unnecessary removal of rides, literally trashy parks, huge entrances with lackluster exits, and the parks themselves were living advertisements for their franchise. Top Gun: Sponsored by Gillette Drop Zone: Stunt Tower FACE/OFF Congo Falls Days of Thunder Wings Diner Tomb Raider: The Ride Italian Job: Stunt Track The Outer Limits: Flight of Fear Yeah, I don't think I need to go on. Also, what happened with Tomb Raider and the Flying Eagles? All Paramount. (Before someone brings up the fact that FUN removed The Crypt, I'm talking about thematic differentiations and ride performance from 2002-2006.)
