  1. That was so last millennium..... How...Forceful. Terp, from my understanding, WAH was in disrepair in the final years. You can thank Lindner, and partially Viacom for that.
  2. I doubt the "Space Spiral Treatment" could work universally. Take Kings Island's WindSeeker for instance. There is a 6 times inverting roller coaster, a 40 year old double classic, forest, a theater of action, and a whole lotta bricks. All in the vicinity of WindSeeker. Not all parks have unused space to plop a steel rod.
  3. Gee, I guess Action Zone won't be the same as it always was. 1999: Oh wait.
  4. Nope. Mondia was intended. Perhaps I am a little bias, being an "enthusiast". I realize that this was not intended, but the riders may not and result in legal action.
  5. I don't think I would sue Cedar Fair if I was in the riders' shoes. It is not as if CF foresaw this event and tried their hardest to make sure it would happen with riders aboard. It's a machine, a prototype, and prototype machinery especially are prone to breakdowns. These are unfortunate, but I don't believe this is worth suing over. If anything, CF should sue Mondia.
  6. The type of coaster "he" said we're getting is one that you will find in a park in Tennessee and one soon to be found in a park to our north. The Point will be getting a GCI? Either that or Arrow's coming back and building a multi-looper!
  7. Both ironic and dense. On one hand, they were given barely any compensation for 4 hours of their day. On the other hand, they DID survive sitting 300' in the air for 4 hours.
  8. Perhaps there are 'secret' menu items like Starbucks! That's a shame a deli and pastry shop is only offering pastries. Foghorn Leghorn, did the shop feel hastily tacked on to you?
  9. Holy journalism, Batman! That article stung my eyes when I read the monstrosity of text. How many Knott's Berry Farms are there in the world, and how many Mondia rides have they purchased?
  10. Dang information! Sometimes, I be a cross threadin'!
  11. Lest we forget The Bat, King Cobra, and Flying Super Saturator!
  12. Tomb Raider: The Ride / The Crypt was a prototype. Son of Beast, too. Crypt, who likes to point out the obvious.
  13. Amazon Falls has been removed. Congo Falls...
  14. They have worse reliability than Son of Beast, with likely worse publicity and general positive response. I think these will go, but not without an SBNO thrown in somewhere.
  15. That picture really emphasizes how far away you went out from the station to the rosebowl. Look how far away the lift is!
  16. You just got me VERY excited for when I make it up there this upcoming Friday. I am a bit upset by the length of the house, but then again, the room is huge. Just PLEASE, do not give away If you must, do so using the spoiler button. I am looking forward to this experience and don't want it spoiled!
  17. ^Glad to hear you're not full of yourself or anything.
  18. ^Is that what that building was? Tomb Raider lockers? I think that they could be staging for Madame Fatale, but wouldn't it make more sense to have them already placed in there? But if movement was restored, an indoor maze seems likeliest.
  19. THIS is interesting. On KingsIslandPR's Twitter page, Don posted a picture with a caption reading "Haunt meeting to go over Opening Night scare tactics." In the picture provided, it showed our beloved Phantom Theater retired animatronics. I'm glad they're back for at least one more year. However, it appears they have been spruced up. Thoughts? http://twitpic.com/awoqa7/full EDIT: What are the wires for? Could this, albeit somewhat far fetched, be the return of movement to the animatronics?
  20. Silly reporter. Parks don't make money off of season pass holders! Or, at least not as wide a profit margin...
  21. Maybe the abominable snowman moved some where else and melted. I think Philadelphia. Why? Because its always sunny in Philadelphia!! Are you sure you do not mean Florida?
  22. Definately sad. I always hate seeing businesses, coasters, and establishments go. I wonder if they will be nice to it and take it down gently, or if they will be not so nice. An era coming to an end, but a new one is awaiting!
  23. I'm thinking of sit-down areas. I apologize for the confusion.
