If Kings Island ever retired Vortex like that long rumor that's been tossed about for years, I think an Intamin blitz would be perfect in that spot. However, If they wanted to put it somewhere else, Kings Island has plenty of land to play with to squeeze one in. Cedar Fair/Kings Island need a second park with a blitz coaster like Maverick.

^ My thought on that is maybe they want guests to feel like they're getting an early Christmas present.

I had an idea on here. There are rumors at Cedar Point indicating that Wicked Twister might be moving to another park soon. Is it possible that land cleared could possibly be for that? Just a thought.

Was there dates mentioned in the video that I may have missed?

I like where you're going with this buddy. I'm on the train that thinks this will be the rebirth of the antique cars. In my opinion, why else would they completely demolish two buildings? To me it just makes sense.

I'm glad somebody bumped this topic. I always thought a few queues were outdated, but the one I would update the most is the one for Racer. I never see them use both sides when you enter the queue house; just the left side. I think they should be creative with the queue for Racer and make it curve around like they did for Mystic Timbers.

Anyone go to the park tonight notice any new construction in the coney mall area? If you're going tomorrow, could you please post a reply tomorrow? We haven't seen any new progress lately.

One facebook page said that this could be the start of them prepping for the new antique cars returning or the new restaurant you guys talking about that debuted in Soak City.

Congratulations to Kings Island and GCI for teaming up and creating a masterpiece of a roller coaster. Now with The Beast and Mystic Timbers next to each other, it's a one two punch in Rivertown. By the way, is there a link from golden tickets to show the complete list of both steel and wooden roller coasters?

I've seen the geico blimp fly over the park before.

I'm sure this has been answered on another topic, but why did they ever get rid of the Ride photo booth for Flight of Fear? With the addition of fun pics, I would love to pose a funny face or terrified look on my face just for jokes and giggles. At least they could put up a kiosk where you could scan your pass if you have fun pics and that way they don't have to worry about an empty once was photo stand.

I'm comfortable with whatever Kings Island brings for next year and the year after that. Mystic Timbers, in my opinion changed Kings Island forever. Now when I go to Kings Island, It's a tough call of which ride I want to do next when it comes to The Beast or Mystic Timbers. Granted The Beast is still my favorite wooden roller coaster all time, but now I have more options with Mystic Timbers. So what I'm saying is, Kings Island could add nothing the next two seasons and I'd still be cool with it.

So I wonder when Kings Island will announce their 2018 additions. Any guesses?

^ Hopefully he puts a frame around his wood. I know that sounded wrong...lol. Maybe he has a mantle in his house that he'll put his wood on.

I'm hoping one day they re-use that interactive ride theater that once held Days of Thunder and James Bond license to thrill. I enjoyed that as a kid and think that one day they could add something in there. I know it's a haunt now, but put an interactive ride in there again! I'm fine with the other building that used to be Crypt as a haunt because that one is cool.

I know some people are confused of how they think they could bring back the antique cars, but I just wanted to add that there was confusion last year when we we're trying to figure out how Mystic Timbers would weave through the woods and now look at the result. Tower gardens will be a little challenging, but I'm sure it can be done.

So it's been a month and a half. Just wondering has anyone been in the gift shops and noticed the giant size park maps yet?

So what song does everyone get the most? I have only ridden it 9 times; because I live in Akron, Ohio, but have heard the song Man eater most of the times I've ridden it.

So with it being close to the end of June, have they opened that Freestyle location yet?

I'd like to see them open up the Freestyle location by the train. I mentioned this before, but not on this topic. As far as new rides go, I would love to see Kings Island eventually add a B&M Floorless.

I really like your idea. Maybe B&M could create a newer style floorless rollercoaster with the vest restraints like they have on Gatekeeper. I was hoping to see that when they re-did Mantis and transformed it into Rougarou. However, I love Rougarou the way it is. The only thing I would maybe change is the corkscrew at the end of the ride. Other than that Rougarou is a kick a** ride.

Anaconda is rougher than Vortex in my opinion. I'm surprised that ride is still going. Maybe it's on the way out after RMC Hurler debuts.

^ I guess the people I'm around can't stand Vortex at Kings Island. Pun intended for the carowinds model. They say it's too rough for them. I just made my post the way I did as an option if they ever did decide to get rid of Vortex. Personally, I like Vortex the way it is, but If they did decide to get rid of it, I would put in a Floorless, or an Intamin blitz coaster similar to Maverick in there.
