In the situation that I believe you are referring to, which was at Kentucky Kingdom on the Intamin ride, Superman: Tower of Power in 2007, there was no incident where a "kids legs were cut off." Although in 2007 there was a horrific incident in which a girls feet were chopped off by dangling cables that had snapped and tangled around her on the ride by Intamin at Kentucky Kingdom called Superman: Power of Tower. So...No ones "legs were cut off" and the ride you were talking about, Superman Tower of Power was nothing like Drop Tower at Kings Island.

The only major advice I would give you is the same as Browntggrr said, Just try out the woodies because they are each very unique in many aspects. Also....You could try their newest attraction, by Zamperla, Black Widow.

It could be. But most wooden coasters have many more footers than what we are seeing now. A prototype could result in less footers. But again I think KI is going steel with this one. They don't want anyone to confuse this project with SOB.On the other hand I would love to see B&M come up with a wooden style coaster. GG has the best designs for wooden coasters, IMO. Competition like B&M and others could really make them (GG) push the envelope. Who knows if they're done with footers yet?Could be more on the way. Another delay could be the wood supply. And remember - it took more than a year tp build The Beast. Here's an example of some wooden coaster footers and construction previously at Kings Island.... From the ground, I'd have to agree with everyone else and go with Drop Tower, but..... From the sky....One could very much say that WindSeeker is.

"You've got me in circles" Vortex - The coaster that runs "circles" around the rest. Possible hint? Due to the fact that we were just discussing Vortex's old advertisements in a recent topic?....... A possible hint that the ride could have a loop or inversion....

One could venture to say that Kings Island was once a very exotic park that contained Lions, giraffes, and more...... or from another perspective....Kings Island has somewhat always been an exotic park and still is to this today...Just think about it, There's been all kinds of snakes including a Diamondback and a King Cobra! There are also Beasts that have roamed the park and some Beasts that still do roam Kings Island to this day....
