What I quite find interesting. is that if Zodiac wasn't closed, There would have been a ride every 10 years this year. Backlot Stunt Coaster is 10 years old Xtreme Skyflyer is 20 years old White Water Canyon is 30 years old Zodiac (Would have been) 40 years old.

If you go Opening day, or Haunt, you will definitely not have a signal. If ride times are mostly 2 hours for the major rides, good luck on signal at that time too.

It sounds like a mix between a Launched coaster and Firechaser Express

At least the app has updated. PLEASE tell me there is a webcam section now? I could never look at the webcams on mobile because of Kings Island's 'Strict Mobile-website only' feature.

I just want to ride it this year, just to see if it's possibly smoother than it was 2 years ago. Probably not, but you never know, it was completely refurbished.

I just hope that the concrete right in front of the Marketplace is not black (new) Asphalt, because of the way it looks. It also looks like they tore up that ugly black tar path in front of the sign down that pathway.

The state of Ohio still calls the park Paramount's Kings Island on work permits. (Yes Terps that's obtainable information. All you have to do is get approved of working at Kings Island. haha)

Well there is uhm... a webcam? So It's not like that's not obtainable information. I didn't state anything going on in the park that was beyond the webcam. Only an arch that was clearly there a few days ago, but no longer is now, and it's most likely for concrete for the plaza. Edit: And looks like I was correct about it being Concrete day. There is a Concrete truck there now.

Keeping watch on a few of those items! The Eiffel Tower looks really nice to have.

It might be concrete day for the Coke-Marketplace right there. So they tore it up to replace it. I'm sure if they were getting rid of it, they would've taken it down at the end of the season. When I went to the park for orientation the sign was still there. KEEP IN MIND, there was also an Interactive map panel right there as well, and that's no longer there. So yes, It's most likely concrete day as most of the surrounding land is being torn up!

So. Why isn't it counted then?

I am working at Kings Island. I won't announce the position, where I'm working at, or my name, because I don't want to be interrupted by People who already know about the park wanting to chat to workers, when there is plenty of people that will need help.

I bet Kings Island will bring back the original for the 50th year in 2022.

Look what I started back up xD Speaking of Online Arguments. I got into one about wether or not this year was the 43 or 44th season... it IS the 43 season, and there is math to back it up... 2015-1972 = 43 AND 2022 - 2015 = 7 and 43 + 7 = 50 years. SO YEAH IT's the 43rd season. and that guy didn't under stand it... He said the 1st year doesn't count. But that would make it 42....

Sorry about that, I thought I did. Anyways, no I didn't. and It is for me, because I'm more younger, and work options didn't come around, Kings Island contacted me first, and I'm happy they did.

Hehe, yeah. lol Vekoma is getting 'better' but they're still pretty bad at it.

This would especially work for me working at the park! With the Inn gone, and great wolf lodge being expensive, I would have to drive down, and back at least 1 hour every day, 30 minutes there, 30 minutes back. Doing that would save so much time for me... Work during the week, stay at the Inn at night. have the weekends back home. It would be such a nice addition that I hope they add soon. Like with Cedar Point.

To push a honest opinion... Adventure Express isn't really all that interesting anymore to me... Of course, It should be interesting to younger kids within the 5 to 12 range, As Adventure Express is that threshold between Kiddie rides, and fast adrenaline pumping rides like Diamondback, Banshee, and Vortex. Although I shouldn't be comparing AE to those high end rides, but It's true. Adventure Express was the ONLY coaster I could get one without fearing anything because of the the theme, the tree lines scattering the idea on how high you are, and all the fast paced turns that allowed you to have a fun time while not being afraid of being on a roller coaster. Many time I went to Kings Island when I was way younger, I only rode Adventure Express, mainly because it was the only ride I wasn't afraid of... It too me to get a Gold Pass at the age of 11 to finally ride The Beast for the first time, Then Vortex, then Backlot Stunt Coaster, FOF, Flight Deck (As it was known when I rode it first) Invertigo, and Finally Diamondback, and then I was so used to these fun rides, that I was afraid of riding new ones again, When Banshee came out? I was so nervous, for the reason of not riding a new coaster in a while... This year, Since I am now working at Kings Island (I am not stating where I am working, or my name for the sake of Identity now at the park) I plan on using the free-time I have off of working there, to take a trip or two up to Cedar Point to try out there rides, I would love to do that, I just have to pick a time now... But you see, Adventure Express should be revamped.... But not removed. Maybe they should take the ride out for a year, send it to a plant to get the track kinks bent out or something to allow a smoother VEKOMA, Mine-train ride.

Just a quick curve ball here.. I was reading comments, and saw the Western Row construction thing about Kings Island drive being updated. Now, It will be lovely to have this section of road worked on but why... WHY, would you start construction just as the Season is starting for Kings Island? Could you have picked a worse time? How about opening day, haunt? Just something that seems annoying.

This thread is not about what is coming to Kings Island ride wise. This is about what rides would be great to have in the park it's self! So, to quickly start off. My thought was the Downdraft at Knoebel's Park (Video by ThemeParkReview (Can't you tell?))
