  1. The main issue is that the ride has pretty much the same theme as Italian Job Stunt Track, just altered without the name branding. The coaster doesn't really feel like it fits in with the rest of the park and is one of the more obvious remnants of Paramount.
  2. More easy than tearing it down and building a new coaster. Replace the junkyard theming with the wild west and change the trains and people will like it a lot more.
  3. I'm sure premier rides could make horse trains for their current coasters
  4. This would be a fun little ride to add to along the pathway between the BLSC land and Diamondback. Make it longer and run two trains and people would really enjoy it. Or overhaul BLSC totally. Make the entrance to the ride in Rivertown instead of Coney Mall, retheme BLSC to the west, repaint the track to brown and replace the cars with horses.
  5. This video makes me cringe so hard. Sorry if this was a member's video but I laughed when I viewed it. I saw @Hawaiian Coasters 325 in the comment section.
  6. I might be asking too much but I want to see a 90 degree drop on a giga. KI doesn't have a single coaster with a 90+ degree drop so adding one on a giga would be a game changer for both the park and the industry.
  7. So you're saying 2018 will be a prep year? Note how Canada's Wonderland already started work on their 2019 coaster so two year preps aren't unheard of.
  8. Its funny how people think its one or the other. I myself never thought a RMC and a GCI could coexist in the same park until Dollywood came along.
  9. Look at Six Flags, where they usually announce all their attractions at the same time on one platform. I understand they're all named Six Flags but sometimes their additions are so pathetic, they don't need to announce them.
  10. Also B&Ms tend to be more expensive as well. In the 2010s, if you also include Behemoth and Diamondback, Cedar Fair bought a TON of coasters by B&M which I'm sure wasn't cheap. Now that they're working more with GCI and starting to do work with RMC, the company has a little more wiggle room to spend in the future.
  11. Rivertown-it has the railroad, Diamondback, Beast, Mystic Timbers, and White Water Canyon. The only thing that it needs is a flat and it would be complete. Action Zone is my second choice.
  12. Dives are my favorite model by B&M, but I just wish they were all different from each other. I want one that has a steeper drop that its original height to add to the intensity. I also want elements that aren't common for a dive coaster like a vertical loop, cobra roll, or something along tjose lines. Reinvent the dive machine like KI reinvented the invert.
  13. True, I forgot about that. That fact that I completely forgot about BLSC should be an indication that the park clearly needs a better launched coaster
  14. I'm curious to see if this tweet is still relevant. https://twitter.com/ScottFaisFun/status/913497037563457536 If it isn't then why tag KI in it? Discovery Kingdom was tagged in the post and we know they're getting one. As I mentioned in another thread, there is some space near the old DA entrance for a ride so a Skywarp isn't completely out of the question
  15. It honestly depends on where it'll go. The likely spot is X-Base/DA so if that's the case, nothing necessarily needs to be moved unless the maintenance buildings are in the way. If its in Action Zone, which I'm almost against, I could see Congo Falls biting the dust or getting relocated to Rivertown. Wolfpack could also be demolished for a new giga station but that's asking a lot since its so high off the ground. Heck it could go in Oktoberfest and the ladder game could get removed for an entrance.
  16. Nothing new to really talk about unfortunately. I think we've covered almost every possible aspect concerning a giga
  17. Back on the topic of speculation, what about be the name/theme of the supposed giga?
  18. They could blow our minds and add in something under our noses. I still think the antique cars would make the most sense but no further hints of speculations has backed up this claim as of late.
  19. If I recall, the Reds Hall of Fame Grille wasn't unveiled until a month before the 2013 season began. 2013 was also a major construction season.
  20. Gerstlauer would be great at smaller parks that don't have decent sit down loopers like Knotts, World's of Fun, Dorney Park, and Valley Fair. However, if they could fit one in X-Base I wouldn't complain. My only fear is that a Gerstlauer would make Vortex obsolete. If Cedar Fair works with Mack, I could see them going to Carowinds and/or Canada's Wonderland since neither park has a launched coaster in their lineup.
