  1. The only people who compare a B&M giga to a B&M hyper are the gp. Any true enthusiast would be able to tell the difference.
  2. This might have been posted on here on another thread but I found this masterpiece on YouTube not too long ago. That fellow with the afro looks familiar
  3. Its been a while since these incidents have happened so I thought I'd ask the question- would you guys ride it if you had the chance? This ride has seen its fair share of issues but that always doesn't sway people's opinions.
  4. @rhyano I actually wouldn't mind seeing a ride like Lost Gravity come to X-Base at KI or other Cedar Fair parks IMO
  5. Since this is a giga thread, you should check out this awesome Fury 325 documentary from In the Loop
  6. I really like the concept of ordering your food on tablets like what you see at Skyline in Coney Mall.
  7. We already have the world's longest inverted roller coaster, the world's longest wooden coaster- so why not the world's longest coaster?
  8. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/explore/executive-chef-coney-bbq Holy schnikes that's huge!
  9. I think the park definitely needs a more diverse lineup of hotels and resorts. Great Wolf Lodge is a stellar hotel/water park but even with discounts its often too expensive for some families on a budget. Look at GWL in comparison to other hotels in the area. If Kings Island built a medium sized hotel that averages around $100 or less per night with perks like free parking and early admission, I think you'd see more people from out of town.
  10. I want to see more western styled buildings scattered around Rivertown, preferably in the area where the Crypt building currently sits or near Diamondback's splashdown. Kiextreme.com
  11. But would Cedar Fair compete with its own parks? Then again, Fury will be around 5 years old when KI would possibly get a giga.
  12. No because that's been a debate that's been derailing the thread a lot, no matter what manufacturer you prefer.
  13. So basically most of us would like to see Drop longer than initial height Longest giga in the US Unique color scheme In X-Base No MCBR Basically better than Fury 325 Things still up for debate Will it have any of these features listed above? Will it be taller than Fury 325? Possible name/theme Possible opening season Layout
  14. Got a few more The park with the 3rd most inversions in the world Most underutilized buildings
  15. Having a giga at KI with the name "force" in it would seem like a rip-off of Millennium Force. If we get Giga, I want the name to be original.
  16. I think the most innovation we've seen in the coaster world has come from Mack and RMC. I'd personally like to see a 4D coaster made by B&M, a RMC T-Rex retrack of a current Arrow looper, or a next-gen standup coaster.
  17. Wouldn't it be cool if RMC did a T-Rex track rehab on Vortex and other Arrow loopers? I'd get behind that!
  18. I think that we'll see a T-Rex coming to the Cedar Fair chain in the upcoming years. As to where, I'd say possibly WOF since they don't have a good inverting coaster in their line up aside from Patriot.
  19. Those rides are still popular with the little ones though and still serve a purpose whereas the theater is just there in case the park needs it. The issue with the vacant theaters all over the park is that once they're gone, they're gone. Getting rid of Timberwolf would eliminate any possibility of any potential concerts in the future.
  20. This is a crude concept for how much land would be freed up if the stage/barnyard was removed. A small kids coaster could easily fill that space and there's room left over for a small flat or two.
  21. Seasonal amusement parks almost always show's up as "permanently closed" during the off season.
  22. The longest giga is over 8,000ft so good luck with that
