Kings Island by far, not even a competition.

It would cost the park more money to use that old werewolf shack anyway.

Ideas For Better Thrills!?
SonofBaconator replied to Hmrapp's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
*Not my video* This would be a good type of coaster for those lower attendance parks that need a good launched ride. Its very similar to a Mr. Freeze style coaster. A drop ride could also be added to the tower structure similar to the "Drop of Doom" rides from Six Flags. -
Ran out of plutonium...

"Before anyone says anything let me point out a couple of things. Yes I know that Invertigo and The Bat were recently repainted as well as Woodstock Express and Flying Ace Ariel Chase. I also know that Flight of Fear is an indoor coaster so painting it would be the equivalent of spitting in a lake. When I make polls, I include all coasters as to reduce bias and be inclusive.* That being said, which coaster needs a paint job? I chose Firehawk because whenever I ride it, I see more and more green from when it was X-Flight. Also if I could go back in time, I would have painted Invertigo red and black and renamed it the Demon- out of nostalgia.

I was curious what was gonna happen to that attraction. I wonder if the park knew DA's demise when they added Field of Screams.

I wouldn't get rid of any of it unless there's a better payoff
-
I prefer it themed to Xbase myself

If there is construction, they better work on the blue racer so I won't get pounded when I try to see the work done

Maybe something to do with the sinking

But are you anticipating that a giga would come the following season? (2019) You usually see posters and teasers the season of an announcement.
-
Plus a lot of front gate coasters, GateKeeper, Leviathan, and Fury 325, spruced up the area. KI doesn't need an upgrade like those other parks did. IMO Invertigo is an awesome front gate coaster because you can watch people ride it while entering the park. Plus a front gate coaster would block people's views of the Eiffel Tower.

The Amusement Park Railroad Thread

I still believe that is was a Paramount decision to get rid of the train. Look at World's of Fun where their train is just an inner loop of the park with only one station. I honestly don't think Paramount wanted to keep the trains unless they served a greater purpose, like a transport ride. -
I wish some of the Peanuts Characters would roam more of the main park every once and a while.
-
I think KI will see something similar to Wonder Mountain's Guardian. My only doubt is if they use the Crypt Building at all since you have to physically install track into a current building that was not built for such a ride. I don't know what the procedure was for CW when they installed WMG so I don't know if a Triotech coaster would work or not.

Sheikra alao has a decent que with videos of the ride

I wouldn't throw out hints too early depending on when actual ground is broken. I think this all depends on what season they want to add the giga. This will hold me over for now

Could Flying Ace be updated to be like Freedom Flyer?
SonofBaconator replied to gforce1994's topic in Kings Island
I fear that VR will replace theming in the coming years. I wish that more theming was added to existing rides instead of slapping a headset on someone. -
Then yes, I honestly think we'll see something on opening day. That area will look so different with the absence of Dinosaurs Alive that I'd be shocked if there wasn't some hint.
-
I think we'll see something. Canada's Wonderland began construction on an attraction that won't even open until 2019. Considering the footprint a giga has, I could definetly see some prep work, even if its at the end of the 2018 season. Leviathan and Fury 325's construction was normal because the land was relatively open and flat; Kings Island has terrain around its perimeter which I imagine requires a lot more prep work and planning. Does anyone recall when prep work started on Diamondback?

Names please?

I haven't been able to do Carowinds yet because I'm fishing for more info. I'll probably enter it in before the end of the week! -
Or they could just play this audio and I'd be happy
