I wouldn't rank Banshee as the best but it is high up there. I think the fact that *something* was added to the coaster enhances the overall theme. Tombstones, pulsing support lights, flickering station lights, the scream at the top of the hill, and even the rename of The Bat all contribute to the theming in some way. Its the little things that people notice

@bkroz Had a really cool idea for Oktoberfest and I'd be 100% behind it, but I'd keep the Adventure Express name.

Inverted Boomerangs are generally more well received than the normal ones nowadays so I think the park will keep it for a while.

I'd say it was more of a theme park during the Taft era of 72-92 where each area had its own theme. Paramount pretty much destroyed this when they didn't keep up with theming consistency as they added rides like TRTR in the western section of the park and so on.

Thanks for the information! When I asked a BGT conductor in 2012 if the yellow train would be out, he said they didn't use the yellow train as much as the green and red.

I'm just making an observation. They play "Hooked on a Feeling" in Killmart for Haunt and that has nothing to do with zombies or grocery shopping.

Because Guardians of the Galaxy is a modern movie that takes place in space and X-Base is themed to the extraterrestrial.

It would be awesome if the Guardians of the Galaxy Vols 1 & 2 soundtrack were played in X-Base.

It's still not too late to add theming to the railroad that would tie in to the Mystic Timbers story. In the story, the railroad was meant to ship out the lumber cut by the company. There's no way the park would never be able to add this much theming to the train but this was the idea I came up with. Some of the obvious takeaways are the large boats, excessive buildings, and vehicles. However, it can't be said that the park couldn't maybe add some large stacks of lumber or timber alongside the track, warning signs and maybe some abandoned equipment. Maybe have the western town re-themed and overrun with vines.

It could lose ACE status, but more importantly it would lose its status as a wooden coaster which in turn would take away KI's record for "the most wooden track at one park".

It makes sense. Kings Island's in the Midwest so there isn't much to choose from for families unless they go east, south, or west. If I lived out in California, I would be less inclined to buy a season pass for any park because I have a variety of options to chose from like Six Flags Magic Mountain, California's Great America, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Disney Land/California Adventure, Universal Studios, Lego Land and Sea World. The same could be argued for parks along the east coast where there's literally dozens of parks at least two hours between one another.

I feel like the Mystic Timbers story will continue to "grow" as the seasons go on. Extra theming has been added in the past couple months, maybe additional theming will follow as the years go on! @chugh43 Had some pictures on his FB page that showed new signs and such

I-box would turn the coaster into a hybrid. Topper track is used for wooden coasters.

I personally prefer smaller designs. I've heard that Georgia Scorcher is the most comfortable B&M stand up. Maybe because its not as fast or as forceful
