I like the formula of how more of the bigger, thrilling coasters are placed at the back of the park.
-
I don't think KI/KD needs a front gate coaster as it would take away from the Eiffel Tower as the focal point.
-
Ouitmet said Kings Island wouldn't be receiving a front gate update like the other parks so that means no front gate coaster.

For those of you who have slow phones. These seats look hot https://www.visitkingsisland.com/blog/2018/january/Diamondback-roller-coaster-trains-get-new-seats

I love how people would be able to look out at the parking lot while they're going up the hill #deathtoparkinglotcoasters
-
I could see a refurbishment to the monster in the coming years. I think KI should take advantage of the various plots of land scattered around Coney Mall and BLSC and add in some different flats.
-
I'm no @TOPGUN1993 but I made this concept just off the top of my head for what a campground at KI would look like. I was inspired by Lighthouse Point at Cedar Point. Little cabins are lined up next to each other, as well as empty plots of land for tents, and campers. The land accommodates RVS as well. There's wifi, electricity and any accommodations a guest could need. At the front of the campground there's a main building where people can check in, sit by the fire, grab coffee, and relax. A courtesy shuttle runs along the maintenance road between the campground to the front of the park, (the concept doesn't show this but the route can be extend to the water park if needed.) Guests staying at the campground get in the park one hour before the GP.

I'm curious to see if the park will ever bring back their campground in a seperate location near the main park. A campground could draw more out-of-town visitors and add to "Ohio's Largest Playground"
-
I like the location however the only issue is that I'm not sure that the SOB station could accommodate a steel coaster of any size. This was the concept I made for X-Base
-
Unless its attendance drops significantly, I don't see the park getting rid of it. Besides there's really nothing to put in that plot of land and its eye candy for anyone who walks up to the front gate
-
But Wildcat was a flat coaster where BLSC technically goes underground. In all honesty, I always thought the Backlot clones could be rethemed and permanently moved and to smaller CF parks like Valleyfair! Dorney Park, and dare I say Michigan's Adventure.

What if that car was an antique car?

"Alter a waterway to construct in the Regional Storm Floodplain of the Don River in order to facilitate the construction of a by-pass channel and a new roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland located on Part Lot 18-20, Concession 5, 9580 Jane Street, in the City of Vaughan within the Don River Watershed." Its really hard to see what coaster the park could add. I'm predicting either a Gerstlauer, or a B&M Dive

No I haven't, but from an outside perspective I think they fare well as they resemble a bit of Cincinnati history

Mighty Canadian Minebuster and Wild Beast good considering they're copies of the Shooting Star and Wildcat from Coney Island

For some reason I was thinking of a flyer when you said wing. I still think a wing would be a suitable replacement for Time Warp
-
They currently have a wing coaster and an invert. If you see either one of those disappear there's a good chance that's the kind of coaster you'll see in the future.

@TombRaiderFTW That's interesting to think about. In terms of product, I always considered GCI more compact where GG is more spread out. Speaking of old GCIs, I'm curious if we'll see a RMC Gwazi -
Blasphemy dear sir! Did you not read the snow?!

I am highly offended... I used PowerPoint.

To be honest, I thought you were being serious as well. Its harder to detect sarcasm online
