  1. I'm sure there's some company vehicles or props out that might give away the contents of the shed and that's why the cams are down.
  2. Anyone know what happened to the Western scenery that was part of the train ride- animatronics people, fake animals, stage coaches, etc? Did they get sold off or are they in storage?
  3. Inverted Boomerangs are also more well received then the standard Boomerangs are. I'm really surprised there aren't as many Invertigo styled boomerangs around compared to the traditional boomerang.
  4. It's all about presentation. To me there's no competition on who's better as a whole, there's just advantages. There are some scenarios where CP has the advantage and there's some scenarios where KI has the advantage.
  5. "Closes forever." Does that mean a possible relocation to another park or does it mean it's truly gone forever?
  6. I believe this is what you said
  7. I'm going with Calakapepe's assumption that the track in the shed might rumble or vibrate in sync with the effects inside.
  8. I'm wondering how much the map will need to be reworked to fit in MT
  9. I'm assuming they'll keep the comments disabled so no one who rode it would immediately spill the beans.
  10. I'm really interested to see how much the ride affects the surrounding setting of the train and WWC.
  11. Back on the topic of capacity. Could you imagine how much longer it would take to load Banshee if they had bins, or even worse, a platform drop? I'm all for no bins on long line rides
  12. For some reason the photo or the link never appeared until now #apologies
  13. This might bring back some nostalgic memories for some of our older members. Hmm that park looks familiar
  14. I really like the one on the right! Its reminiscent of a rustic worker's cap.
  15. Maybe you should ask what's in the shed
  16. Here's a look at the new 'merch https://twitter.com/KIMerch
  17. There won't be any strobe lights, I can tell you that right now
  18. "You have entered the Forbidden Shed, NOW YOU WILL PAY!"
  19. Thanks Indy, but when a major coaster company emails you back you have to show it off a little I agree that X-Base needs something. I understand that those maintenance buildings are essential but they take away a lot of potential for any type of plausible expansion. To be honest, I rarely visit that area of the park that much anymore unless its a very slow day. I don't know what the exact ridership was over the years for Flight of Fear or Firehawk but I assume that they've only gone down significantly.
  20. It seems to me like Cedar Fair is trying to make California's Great America a premier park out in California. I always thought they were the runt of the Paramount buy and losing three major coasters within the last 15 years didn't help them out. Its not going to be Magic Mountain status by any means but I think the park's popularity and attendance will certainly go up.
  21. BUMP With the addition of Mystic Timbers and the mysterious shed at the end of the ride do you think we'll still get a Triotech dark ride? If we do I really want it to be right next to Adventure Express between Flight of Fear and Racer. However with the way Cedar Fair has adding dark rides in preexisting buildings I would not put it past them if they did something in the old Crypt building.
  22. I am curious to see how people will look at The Beast and The Racer after they ride Mystic Timbers. People usually expect wooden coasters to be rougher so I'm wondering if Mystic Timbers will make people think lesser of the other woodies. People thought Vortex and Firehawk were the smoothest rides in the park until rides like Diamondback and Banshee came along.
  23. "Is so smooth." "I thought it was going to be bumpy." "The Beast is so rough now." "Why can't The Beast be this smooth??" "It hurts now when I ride The Beast." "I won't even ride The Racer anymore"
