Someone is having a conniption fit and furiously writing a message to a mod right now...

Since you don't like that question, how bout we talk about those fountain pedestals? ;-)

How is there wind Inside a sealed building?

Wow. That pic was really deceiving.
-
For it to be a giga, the lift would have to be taller than WindSeeker.

DCA to open up a Marvel themed land
fryoj replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
And now it looks like the Spiderman ride is going to be a TSMM knock off. Disney has the opportunity to show what they can do with Marvel Superheroes in DCA. I think when they are done, people will not be asking for them to get the rights back from Universal. -
Thats a 1 mile perimeter, not straight line.
-
Need to get them cameras and send them to the giga area since they clearly don't have to follow the rules.

The person who posted it there also claimed to "find it online" without a source. No one is claiming to actually have seen it on the KI site. The amount of fakes that get posted during the course of a decoding thread is staggering.

Newer member posts screenshot claiming they found it on some mystery site. Then admits they do photoshop as their side job.

Universal Orlando. But thats the same if you don't take out the other parks.

I'd be happier with TTD. Typo?

If The Beast was at CP it would be considered a top 10 ride.

According to that list, I think KI's only chance at a top spot is to RMC Beast

If Polaris is the name, and I do like it, I'm thinking Blue and white for colors. Edit: Just read the wiki on orion and had a holy crap moment. It says he's a giant huntsman. So he's a giant hunter going into the woods hunting the mythical Beast...

As mentioned earlier, they have months of footer work to do. Getting the site they have cleared now cleaned up and to finish grade allows footer work to start in those areas. IF there is more clearing to be done, and I do emphasize IF as theres no guarantee there is more clearing thats going to happen, it can be done a month or longer from now. If they are going to go down any of the ravines, it would definitely be easier to wait for things to dry out before they start doing that. Not that they can't work down the ravines in the rain, but the crews doing the clearing is likely the same doing the finish grade, so they have to prioritize. Right now I'd think getting the station area ready for construction would take priority over clearing areas they aren't going to be working on till months from now.

I see no signs of digging in those pics. I see some lines but they were there last week and are either tire tracks or just a result of how they graded. They are just more pronounced from the rain and runoff.
-
Definitely a survey pin. Probably one of a number of them that they use as base points to measure other areas. It doesn't mean that they will be doing any work that far up though. It's just a fixed point that they know they can return to to get accurate measurements as they go along.
-
To summarize: They could spend a lot more money for better paint and clearcoat and the shine would last a lot longer, but they aren't going to do that.
-
A giga can fit in what they have cleared. It just would either have a shorter track length or have a lot of doubling back through itself. That bulb shaped clearing by The Beast brake shed really looks like the end of the line that way. It looks like they make the clearing wider to do a turnaround. If that's true, it doesn't necessarily mean they are done clearing. They can still go other directions. And nothing says that all the clearing has to be done at first. It would be easier to wait for drier weather really. So maybe they are under the gun and need to get the station and lift area done to get footer work started. Once it dries up a little, they can continue clearing wherever it needs to go and still have plenty of time.

Yeah, site cleanup and grading in preparation for footer work. They did some cleanup around the red barn too, but that may be unrelated.
