At Volcano Bay, you can at least go hang out at the pool or do the lazy river or just chill in your beach chair, so it sorta works there. At a traditional park, people are just going to stand outside the ride waiting for their time. In a full day at a park, you aren't going to shop every time you are virtually waiting in line. And since everyone else is waiting and bored, the shops will be so full that you won't want to go in them anyway. The theory is sound, but in practice, dumping thousands of people into the midways just doesn't work.

On top of increasing costs, it really doesn't work. Universal has experimented with it, but doesn't appear to be sticking with it other than a few specially designed situations. One big problem is what do you do while you are waiting for your ride time? If you have an hour wait for Diamondback are you and the other thousands of people just going to stare at the fountains for an hour? Plus, If you take everyone out of lines and put them in the midways and food lines, it would overload the whole park.

It's also possible that after they are done at WOF and DP, they ship them back to KI and KD and store them there all Winter.

So that opens the question of did the park single out KIC to stop getting events, or did they just stop doing events for everyone?

Does the park do free events for any group at this point?

I guarantee that every day customers have a bad experience with a park employee and say "I'm never coming back here" But fair doesn't usually come into play when someone has power over a group like this.

The track labels (ST1 - ST9) match exactly with the KI blueprint markings.

Theres no way to tell if the KI track is even painted let alone two tone. We just have a pic of some blue track off in the distance, but all of the track we know is KI's is still sitting there gray.

I wonder if John will walk back there and get pics of the track tags?

Well, they are paying an unknown, but large amount of money just to let a lot of people down, so... UK it is!

Sea World orlando is getting a new coaster next year too, but I've not heard anyone tying B&M to it.

Yeah, I doubt it myself. We know they are going to start at the station area and that track is just sitting there. Now we have the drop backbone piece sitting there as well. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to have completed track for other sections. They have some Chinese coasters opening next year as well, so I don't think we can call this one until we see the ID markings.

KI already has it's cowboy coaster. The cowboys just drive Mini Coopers.

Yeah I'm looking for pics of when they replaced some of the rails on The Bat and theres 50 different ways I can phrase the search including using the Flight Deck name, so it's a real mess.

Are the timers on the search feature really necessary? As they are set up, the search on this site is almost useless, or at least frustratingly slow. Its really evident when a search returns multiple pages of results and you scroll down to click on the second page and instead get hit with a "please wait". You hit the back to go to the first page, and it resets the timer again. It just makes it hard to find content you know exists on the site.

That part of the track wouldn't be built yet. They'd do station area, then lift, then start working their way from there.

This is about drones. The park has made it clear that drones are not allowed. Due to the crowds, it would also be against FAA rules to fly it over the park. CSF would not have those restrictions.
