the best rumor I have heard is about the monkeys that escaped from the old Wild Animal Habitat years ago and that some still are alive in the forests around the Little Miami River, and if you are really quiet on the Loveland Bike Trail you mayba able to hear some talking to each other in the forest.

Haunt is the best time of year for park and decor and riding rides and next year Banshee will make it even better

My biased is based on Top Gun aka Flight Deck and rode opening day and been riding since. I rode Iron Dragon this year for the first time and have to say it was a slow ride, waiting for some fast twist or turns like flight deck but never happened. the only thing it saved me was the helix over the lake which is a nice touch.

Prices for 2012 (in fall 2011) were $70 for gold and $150 for platinum. Prices for 2013 (in fall 2012) were $80 for gold and $164 for platinum. good to see my math skills are correct from last year to this year.

I will be upgrading my kids passes to platinum next year. I know that the passes go on sale August 30, and thinking should be around $85 for gold passes new or renewal pricing, last year was $79.99 and usually go up $5 every year. Platnum passes are usually double that price thinking $169?? but we will see August 30 what the prices will be .

Just for the blue ice cream is worth the trip. I bribed my 9 year old to ride Drop Tower with me and then we ate blue ice cream. She said I screamed then we are eating ice cream. best day

Are the hours you posted for this weekend as well? Yes those are the hours for Aug. 23 & 24

The one thing is that I can mention is that Saturday hours are 10am-10pm & and 10am-8pm Sunday. they have a fireworks show Saturday at 10pm when the park closes. And make sure to ride The Beast at night! Best experience you can have with a roller coaster, just make sure you ride before 9:45pm, because they shut the ride down due to fireworks.

I have been to the grand opening of 4 rides: Flight Deck Back Lot Stunt Coaster Diamondback WindSeeker

first time and only time i rode was in July. Very nice day cool breeze. I purchased the Fast Lane plus just for this reason, and it was smooth and very unique ride experience. I can now say this is my favorite coaster and planning another trip in september just to ride Gatekeeper. As a KI regular, Diamondback and Beast were the best rides but now with Gatekeeper I have mixed emotions about Diamondback being my #1. Wishing that KI Banshee was a wing coaster but I will take it and cannot wait to ride it in 2014!

i do know that the shirts will be sold only at the park until the ride opens, looking to purchase both t-shirt and hoodie during the haunt. Great way to gift a seaon pass with a t-shirt.

I hope the Plinko board for Banshee is not rigged?!
