I gotta say, i applaud the outcome of this. This is more of a community based outcome, rather than being centered around one person who already has everything he could want/need. Both decided to join in a effort to make northeast Ohio a better place. Im glad it turned out this way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Millennium Force track

On the straight away before the final overbanked turn. There are a few more spots with these along the course of the ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Mean Streak has gotten increasingly more enjoyable over the years. It's actually not a very rough ride anymore. Riding in the front seat is preferred though.

Bye, Bye Colossus. Damaged by fire.

Oh no! Lets all boycott amusement parks, for they are unsafe...... My attempt to mock the commenters on Facebook EDIT: Or the massive amount of people claiming insurance fraud -

Between Flying Turns winning Best New Ride of 2014, Europa Park winning Best Amusement Park, and Diamondback jumping 10 spots, I'd say it's been quite a shocking ceremony... -

Didn't realize how long this ceremony drags on for......... EDIT: I thought Flying Turns opened in 2013? -
I saw the same thing multiple times in one day. SFNE doesn't mess around! I love SFNE, i think it's actually one of the better overall parks in the chain. Really friendly staff, decent coasters, easy to get around and its really clean. As for my pet peeve, have you ever seen someone litter 10 feet away from a trash can? Come on now, have some class... Manhattan Express...... Oh the horror.... EDIT: I can see it now...... Wicked Mantis. The first hybrid coaster to feature an inclined dive loop and a 270 degree stall element. At 200ft tall with a 195ft drop, it will be the worlds tallest hybrid coaster (or wooden coaster, we dont know). It will also be the first and only hybrid coaster to feature FOUR, count them, FOUR inversions! Wicked Mantis everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think B&M is still pretty well represented at Cedar Point, especially with the addition of Gatekeeper. Raptor may not be better than Banshee, but it's still a wonderful and enjoyable ride. Also, B&M stand-up coasters were all the rage when Mantis was built. Now, it's like a fad that has severely lost it's popularity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think a large part of 2015 has to do with improvements along the Frontier Trail. It's the only area in the park in recent years that has not received upgrades. My only hope is that the black top goes, and the natural shade stays . Other than that, I'd love to see a dark attraction! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As one Park seems to be getting rid of all Wooden Coasters?

Im actually kinda glad to see Six Flags using a different color track for an RMC coaster, but i do think the changing colors (most specifically the choice of the changing colors) is kind of odd.
-
^^ Theres no doubt that the manufacturers can get it right, but can Six Flags/the seasonal employees get it right? My previous experiences with Six Flags ride capacity tell me no. My hopes and wishes tell me yes.

I have my doubts about Twisted Colossus being able to be timed perfectly like that at all. When i visited SFMM last month (and every other Six Flags park as well) timing was really their strong suit. The ride ops move around the station at an incredibly slow pace, usually taking anywhere from 3-5 minutes to dispatch the next train. It'll be interesting to see if they can pull it off consistently.

Wow! Im impressed! I love what SFMM did with Twisted Colossus. Two lift hills? Count me in! And Wicked Cyclone? definitely count me in! I think i like Wicked Cyclone better though. As for the other additions, i feel as if the only other addition that is noteworthy are the Battle For Metropolis additions at SFSL and SFOT. P.S. I am a huge fan of Six Flags' super original ride naming....... Kidding EDIT: What's with the horrid music in the Twisted Colossus video? That'll really get you pumped up for the 2015 season... Now the question becomes, can Six Flags actually get these RMC coasters up and running by "Spring 2015"? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Travelling through Vegas soon - coasters?
Gplez90 replied to WMAJrKY's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
By the way, don't forget to check out the incredibly huge observation wheel! If you ride it at night, you're in for a real treat! P.S. Why does the world need a 550ft observation wheel again.....? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
The problem with cash, is that anyone can claim they lost it. You hand it over to someone who claims to have lost it, then you lost out on the cash you just found, and it still didn't end up in the hands of the person who lost it. Finders keepers for me . Now i have absolutely no problem with turning in a wallet full of cash, credit/debit cards, ID, etc, but cash by itself is a different story. EDIT: I'd expect a person to do the same thing if I lost some cash seeing as how it would be my fault that i lost it in the first place.

My initial thought is, Six Flags wouldn't care enough about a classic ride to keep it around, especially with their fan base expecting something new and improved. However, that would be pretty sweet!

REAL wooden coasters at that...... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
