Nice video. It was good seeing Son of Beast running. Almost brought a tear to my eye.

^It wouldn't go to waste if I had that amount of money! Great to see it up and running again. If a little wheel falling off is enough to close it for three years, I imagine an accident a little greater than that would shut it down for good.

Not sure about the whole CF chaing, but at Cedar Point, there are some good sit down restaurants, but a lot of the food stands are average or below average. The pizza tastes like cardboard. The burgers generally don't have much flavor either.

Very true, Avatar. Sounds to me like they are trying to put the screws to out of towners. So, was it determined whether or not it would affect anyone besides the Beach and Kings Island?

You guys think it's bad in Mason, try living in Huntington, WV. They are trying to tax us to death. Not only that, there are many ridiculous business taxes, no one wants to come to Huntington to open new business. However, I do agree with you guys that this new tax is b.s.

Here is a link to an article from the Toledo Blade about how the latest construction at Cedar Point is causing an uproar in the coaster communities. Maverick Article Tggr, it's going to be a little more than something along the lines of Storm Runner. According to the article, CP is going for some record with this one. No one knows just yet. It may be some kind of new inverion, maybe a record for most LIM/LSM launches, or maybe longest steel coaster. They have something up their sleeves for sure. I guess we'll all know in a matter of days.

Don't be surprised if Cedar Fair decides to fight it. They just went through this with Cedar Point and Sandusky a few years back.

I was agreeing with some people over at Pointbuzz because of clearance issues I believe was the reason stated. Not necessarily ground clearance. Maybe I should link to that thread to get a better explanation.

^Exactly. It's not going to be a wing walker and with the inversions, I would say that it mostly rules out Aquatrax too. Although, I am stumped on this one. I believe an announcement is coming September the 8th.

I agree CoastersRZ, it would not make sense to remove Nick for Peanuts. Nick is by far more popular. I think it would be more likely for Nick to start showing up at other CF parks then for Peanuts to be added to the former Paramount parks.
