  1. I actually got mine from the dispenser up by the front gate. But then, I did see one of the girls in the very yellow outfits carrying a bunch of them in her pocket to be handed out. That seems like a nice touch.
  2. I would say so. We haven't gotten past the frost season yet.
  3. Yeah, and this isn't a topic about the webcam currently having problems like the other one is. This is a topic about what it is doing when it starts working again.
  4. Hey all, I figured that now that the Construction topic is officially closed, and a lot of what was fun about that thread was commenting on what we saw in the webcam; it seems only fitting that we have an ongoing discussion of what's going on in the park through the webcam over the season. Of course, today is a horrible day to start this thread because from what I'm seeing, the cam is frozen at 5:14 AM this morning. But I'm sure it'll thaw soon and we'll have all kinds of things to see in the park and talk about.
  5. So how was Delirium showing its age? It's growing a beard.
  6. I walked by a girl sweeping the paths in one next to the old Paramount Story area by Outer Hanks, so I'd say they're everywhere.
  7. Agree about the music. I know this isn't Disney where theme is so meticulously kept but they should at least fix the music. They should have bluegrass in Rivertown, Rock in Action Zone, Polka in Oktoberfest, kinda spooky and atmospheric music in X-Base, majestic movie soundtrack music at I-Street, kid appropriate rock in Nick U and, I don't know, either more rock or Sousa marches in Coney Mall.
  8. Wow, that's a real bummer you gave away your ticket. Looks like you had some good rides. I have still only rode once and I'm dying to get back and do it some more.
  9. Yeah, I noticed that when I was putting the box back and tilted it and they all came up. I was like, "Cool.....still not buying it!"
  10. You know, Millennium Force has been my #1 since I first rode it, but I think Diamondback might have knocked it out of my top 5 completely. I mean, I liked Millennium Force for its first hill, speed, smoothness and couple air time spots. Well, Diamondback has all that and more so, Millennium Force really doesn't stand out to me as much at this point. DB has a nice big hill that's just as thrilling as MF, it has great speed (maybe not MF speed but it's not that much slower), it's just as smooth and it has tons more airtime. So...I'm sorry MF...DB is taking your spot. 1.) Diamondback 2.) Voyage 3.) Raven 4.) Raptor 5.) Magnum
  11. I got inside the cave and to the first room early (around 10?) on opening day. The queue needs some TLC. There was trash and coins on the floor from last year. Ride broke down before I could ride and was escorted out a side exit.
  12. I probably walked by you at one point. I had a drink with me and walked back to a trash can to throw it away (at that point the line was even longer behind us) and my fiance and buddy Scott thought it would be funny if they switched places and turned their backs to me as I was looking for them when I came back. So I walked waaaay past where they were and probably past where you were and I was like, "What the what? Where did they go?!" I turned around and saw them a ways back laughing at me. And I'm expected to marry this woman? Sheesh!
  13. Just like you found yourself in my pic of the crowd, I found part of me in yours. I know it's me because the little dude in the white hat next to me is my friend Scott, and we were talking to the guy with the gray hair behind him throughout the wait. Good report. Nice to see the webcam. Now we can watch it, instead of it watching us.
  14. I think I might have seen you (Justin) walking into The Crypt just as I was on my way out? The ride was closed for mechanical issues (around 10:20 maybe?) and I was getting some shots of DB in the exit queue. Someone who looked a little like you was walking in with someone else but I couldn't get over to ask if it was you or not.
  15. Wow, I didn't think the splash would really affect people in the back seat.
  16. What?! I thought you ate pizza, not people! LoL, I had to read that a couple times before I moved on. Good TR. They really were cranking those people through the line, eh? The efficiency of DB puts a lot of other rides to shame.
  17. Hopefully it also opens up an area for a new flat. That part of Coney Mall needs a little somethin'.
  18. It was the Statix one (non-moving display-type). I was pretty psyched to see it except that they had the seats going 4 straight across like typical B&M's which was pretty disappointing so I didn't get one.
  19. Was that where the big dome 180 degree theater used to be?
  20. They had Beast and Diamondback models at the Diamondback gift shop.
  21. Good report there moley mole. I'm somewhere in that first picture of the crowd you have there to the left toward that purple tent-looking thing (I think they do face painting there). Good times. DB was so great. I need to get a night ride on it.
  22. I mentioned that in my TR too. I thought it was odd that so much Nick stuff was on clearance already unless they're either a.) making room for NEW Nick stuff. b.) making room for a new theme. I'd love to see Hanna-Barbera make a return.
  23. I can see where you're coming from. It definitely had a slight vibration or something through it which I hadn't felt before on other new B&M's, but it's still the smoothest coaster in the park.
