The 2018 season was probably the best season for me yet. I have a feeling that 2019 will be much better. KMAA will no doubt be a great addition to the park. Not to mention all of the teasers that are bound to come!

This is something that has been going around... look at other parks. People are doing it as a joke. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It is a cool concept, however I doubt Cedar Fair would be willing to work with Vekoma after this is over, especially considering their current relationship with Bolliger & Mabillard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kings Island Confirms removal of Coaster
Bansheeback replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
This is hilarious. Thanks for posting! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I can see where you’re coming from, but The Bat has great capacity and reliability. It’s also got great ridership for this year, whereas Firehawk has terrible reliability and capacity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah. Mmm hmm. It’s The Bat. It’s being removed to make way for that RMC Son of Beat giga. I’m sure this information came from multiple reputable sources as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Exactly. This is exactly why I never left the airspace over the Little Miami River. I understand how important it is to follow Kings Island’s rules no matter whether it is against the law or not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Question about Fright Lane
Bansheeback replied to Tien Shinhan's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Only the mazes unfortunately... Fast Lane is separate from fright lane. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Perhaps if Paramount didn’t kick RCCA to the curb midway through the project, SOB may have been more successful? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good question! They were taken from my drone, with the pictures coming from above the Little Miami River with a high power zoomed camera lens. It was launched from the bike path behind the river and I was very careful not to intrude onto KI property as I didn’t want to break any rules, if there are any. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wonder my RCCA, a relatively small player in the industry, was chosen over Intamin or CCI, which were industry leaders at the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Very interesting. I’d love to see the photos if you can find them! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here is a different perspective of the Kings Island skyline: Here you can see a portion of where the monorail track was, along with the pond where the animals grazed: Here you can see the pond closer, as well as more of the former location of the monorail track: Here is the view of the safari looking northwest, towards Great Wolf Lodge: Here is a view of the safari looking north, notice Kings High School in the background: Sorry for the low resolution, the video the pictures were taken from was shot in 4K but they are compressed when uploaded onto the forums. Hope you all enjoy!

I have more pictures of the old pond, the high fences that are still there, and the clearing in the trees where the monorail used to go, if anyone’s interested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is a building that I couldn't identify based on these photos and its' location. I assume that it has something to do with Lion Country Safari based on its location in that area, however, I can't tell exactly what it is. Here is the building itself: As you can see it doesn't look like it is still used or kept up. Here is the building from a different perspective: You can see the high fences surrounding the building, presumably there to keep the animals out. Here is the location of the building relative to the main park, circled in red: Heres a closer satellite view of the building: Does anybody know what this building is and what it was used for?

That is really inconvenient to spend that much money on bottled water, especially when you keep running out! Keep in mind you can’t take the souvenir bottle on Mystic Timbers, Banshee, and Firehawk, along with any other loose articles. You will have to get a locker. They are only $2 for two hours though, so if you get one for a short period of time and ride those three rides it’ll be well worth it. Enjoy your visit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi! Welcome to KIC! To answer your question: Yes! You can just get the souvenir bottle to get ice water. When you buy the cup it is completely up to you where you take it and what you put in it. Something that is also important to note is that you can get free ice water at any place in the park that sells food. It is a small cup though. Let me know if that answers your question! It really is. Unless you like getting sunburnt, in which case, it’d be the perfect job for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I did not say “Oh well, everyone else is doing it” I said that it’s extremely difficult to find every single person doing it but when we do find someone we will take the appropriate steps necessary to make sure the person doesn’t do it again. I’m pretty sure if our attitude was “oh well, everyone else is doing it” you’d see a lot of people lose their jobs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Depending on who’s working the ride, we can stop the ride if someone wasn’t following the rules. It just depends on whether we see it or not. Unfortunately, it’s an uphill battle as so many people do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
