Agreed. But here we are. With what brutality are you going to enforce the rules? Keep in mind this started out talking about 16-year-olds enforcing rules even police departments cannot enforce. If you wanna throw people out for not wearing masks go ahead. It'll probably be on youtube when it happens.

Are you going to throw a fit if someone you encounter at Kings Island is not wearing a mask? That is my question. Will you need to speak to a manager?

Do you go to the grocery store? Or anywhere? Many people wear masks, some do not. Do you throw a fit in the store when you see someone not wearing a mask? Is that you? Is that going to be you at Kings Island?

I think if NYPD cannot enforce governor Cuomo's rules on social distancing and masks it's asking too much of Kings Island employees. That's all. Typically we see what I call children working the rides and lines at the park. And lots of adults in the park. It's just asking for confrontation that is not necessary and will end bad. People who are freaks about masks and Covid-19 would be better served to stay home. And I think most of us WILL follow the rules. But some won't, and they don't need to be hauled out for not wearing a face covering.

Ask the NYPD RIGHT NOW...then get back to me. You're really annoying btw.

There's literally no social distancing in many big cities right now. People outside huddling, and there are thousands of them. Some have masks on, many do not. And some of you want 16-year-old kids to enforce the rules at Kings Island? Just no. Open the park, eliminate covid restrictions, and let people decide if they want to go, or not. No Karen's allowed.

I said to another Ding Dong the other night in a private message...If you don't want the park to open...don't go to the park! Simple as that. The park wants to open. I want to go to the park. You don't have to. The governor should be providing all sorts of information so people can decide if they want to go. He should not be the dictator over Kings Island and their customers.

Halfway agree with the first part of your post, but not this part. Kicking out paying customers...for not wearing a mask? Nope. DeWine himself said mandating customers to wear masks was "a bridge too far". That ship has sailed.

I would wear mine as much as possible. However, I would need a break here and there. I think most people will need a break here and there. I'd be curious to see if they would open the rides like Boo Blasters and FoF by clamping down a bit on mask-wearing on indoor attractions. It would make sense, and if it helps keep those rides open it's totally worth it.

It'll be impossible to police this, but if the requirement---on paper---gets the park open, count me in.

My personal struggle is Top Thrill Dragster. I could ride that thing over and over and over and over. And over. Something I could not do on Diamondback. But they're completely different experiences. Can't wait to ride Orion. Have a feeling I'm going to enjoy it, but...you never know until you ride.

Diamondback is still my favorite coaster ever. It's very controversial even in my own head, but I think that's all he was saying. But I mean if we all need to measure credits I'll whip mine out.

I tend to stand on the side of states' rights. So actually I would be. If DeWine wanted to only allow Ohio people at Kings Island for the time being and the people of Ohio agreed with that...done! I'd just have to go elsewhere.

If the masses of people in Ohio would prefer a 150mph speed limit. YES.

If I was DeWine I would let the people that elected me decide whether they want to go to Kings Island or not.

I appreciate the post, but this is a typical statement to investors. Things are all good, here's what we're doing to be great...yadda yadda. Meanwhile the truth is their parks are closed, and they have no customers, and a ghost crew. Meh.

This is why I think KI will open whenever they can. It might not be until October, but the park would be slammed, and they'd be making money. Could extend the Haunt season into November and move straight into Winterfest. They might even open early in 2021---who knows? Once this covid-19 is over (or maybe even if it's not over) people are going to be looking for places to go. So KI can let people go elsewhere...or they can open the park and do the best they can. Of course A LOT of this is completely hypothetical right now.
