Just a rumor but it makes sense with the way Cedar Fair has cut the budget this year...lots less scareactors this year are going to be employed. So the event is continuing to spiral downhill IMHO. At this point, just have Oktoberfest weekends and put lederhosen on the employees and sell brats and let haunt die it's miserable death.

When I ride Banshee, besides the zero g stall, I'm focusing on not throwing up.

Typically, they do with a fee. However, if it was used in 2022 for the "get the rest of '22 free with a 2023 pass" promo, they won't.

Toboggan in front of WindSeeker. Ice carvers in the junkyard plaza. But you loose the chicken Shack by closing Action Zone.

I think, if I remember correctly, that Jeff Gramke was asked this at Coasterstock and he said it was happenstance. Could be wrong though, there was so much in depth information that day. Great question, I wondered that for years.

I know I'm usually critical of current KI comms, but I do give due credit. Fun Fact Friday is a great thing they are doing. The music is catchy, the facts are interesting (in spite of some errors) and it's engaging. I like that they end with something to the affect of " see you next week!" I do find that I look forward to seeing it. I hope they continue this and other campaigns like it.

It's 1242 and I wonder why people vote for an event before it starts. And if people vote for ki, specifically, as a top rated park for haunt, when the event crumbles and decays each year, what motivation does corporate have to fund it?

It's 1032 am and I'm not asleep... Why doesn't the park keep The Royal Fountain clean from all the goose poop?

If a woodie is relocated, do they just take the plc, chain, sprockets, etc and build new structure with the original blueprints? Ok do they literally move the bents and track? I know there have been relocation of Woodies but I never considered the process.

But why? If anything, remove the vinyl advertisements, add appropriate European accents (shingles) and bring the flags back. Put in pavers, renovate or remove the ticket building and relandscape the berms. Oh, and add the ornate lamps back. Update to the past, not to a post modern wasteland that's not fitting to Kings Island.

Wouldn’t a simple pedestrian overpass from the parking lot be a better option? It could arguably move people a lot quicker than the gondola could. @Hawaiian Coasters 325...I like the thought, but don't think it's practical. In a dream world where ki reacquires the land across the freeway, lots of things could happen over there. @MisterSG1... I think a pedestrian bridge would be a stretch because of the distance required. With height requirements, the landing would need to stretch further out. People would not want to have to walk that far and back. For safety and capacity, I think a monorail would be a solution.

On a positive note...I do enjoy the Friday Fun Fact shorts they have been doing. (except when there are factual errors)

That would look terrible...distract from the beauty of the Eiffel Tower and the Grand Carousel. Plus it would be loud with it being right beside the International Showplace. It would be the equivalent of a new junkyard coaster.

I went on to mention that people here, who have industry experience and expertise have stated sound, logical examples to you. You choose not to agree.
