  1. I’m actually mainly just interested in seeing how the flashlights work and how much of the ride will be animatronic based and how much will be screen based
  2. Good question, I actually do not know although I agree that Woodstock Express would also be a good ride to have open but honestly just being at the par for an extra two months is nice
  3. Hopefully this year Adventure Express is open for Winterfest it’s gonna suck not having boo blasters this year, hopefully next year, we’ll get to have a phantom theater Christmas
  4. I agree from what we have seen so far the new Phantom Theater has much more of a cartoon looking design than the old PT and therefore probably not a good idea to market it at Haunt considering that it is first a ride for families and you don’t wanna deter them from thinking it’s too scary for children
  5. 1. Hoping that theirs lots of animatronics and that the queue has the Maestro and moving bust, I would like to point out that two of the bust in the walls are still there so that would be easy to install. 2. Having said that i think the peppers ghost effect may not be included due to emphasis on shooting targets or also the Maestro in the lobby as Kings Island may put more of an emphasis on the actual ride and not the queue. 3. Keep this ride a staple at Kings Island, in the future if a new dark ride happens then build it somewhere else, leave phantom theater at the park just like disney would haunted mansion or pirates of the carribean
  6. I kind actually hope that get some use out of Boocifer and reuse him for the Phantom Theater, i think hes an awesome animatronic that i hope doesnt just go in the garbage
  7. Cool to see boo blasters behind the scenes and also cool to see that at Sally Headquarters you can still shoot at the scooby doo and the haunted castle props, new Phantom Theater Maestro looks slightly more cartoonish but still looks good, I wonder how many Maestros their will be, im excited for the expo soon
  8. Hopefully we will see someone updates soon, I’m getting antsy
  9. It wasnt from The dipping dots guy was it shaggy? :) Yes, that would be a cool façade for sure and also to answer your other question. Yes, they used to play music and noise outside the queue.
  10. If the ride is anything like that facade then I think we’re gonna have a really nice time on it, I hope we have some sort of preshow, but if we don’t, then that’ll be OK as long as the ride is good
  11. That’s pretty cool. Do you have any photos from the inside from the time?
  12. I wish they did something like that for all the rides, I like it how The Beast sorta has a story especially when you had Son of Beast and Beastie, The Racer does feel very generic in that category
  13. I see thanks for the info, it’s something that I never really thought about, I do wonder if they’ll save any parts of boo blasters and reintegrate them into phantom theater. I hope boocifer stays around
  14. Something that I never really thought about is who tears down the ride does Sally come in and do it or does Kings Island themselves do it?
  15. The lack of updates is making me anxious, i hate waiting!
  16. Anywhere to see a picture of that?
  17. That’s a good idea, Cedar Point really does need one dark ride, I think that would solidify them even further as the goat
  18. Courtesy of the Kings Island instagram page, love that they are talking about the Maestro like an old lost friend. Also they stated that more updates will be coming soon in the comments
  19. Maybe I’ve just been reading too much of the news lately but this Six Flags money issues just have me worried about the future of Kings Island and our new Phantom Theater, I’m a worrier, can’t help it
  20. Does anyone worry that Six Flags recent financial struggles will cheapen the ride or possibly even delay its opening?
  21. Here’s a picture of the original Phantom theater production, courtesy of theme park University. Happy to have the Phantom theater back again, especially in an animatronics.
  22. Yall who are there take some pictures for us if you can!
  23. Anybody at the park today? Wonder how the lines are for Boo Blasters?
  24. To me it was never a huge favorite, I always viewed Firehawk as a unique coaster but definitely one that I didn’t ride very often, the loop always made me feel kinda uncomfortable, I did enjoy the flying aspect of it and riding it the final day it was open was definitely a memorable experience but at the end of the day I think Orion is a far superior coaster than its predecessor and one that appeals to a wider audience
  25. How long after Boo Blasters closes do you think until we see construction begin?
