Here's what you get with a cabana rental: 1) Private Cabana 2) Free Dasani bottled water 3) Stocked Dasani fridge full of contour pop and snacks (candy and chips) --You pay for these items as you use them 4) Plus lounge side waiter service where you can order beverages from the bar (either alcoholic or non) or you can order food from Dundee's Outback Shack. Whatever you order will be brought out to you in a only a few minutes since our fabulous new system includes wireless POS (point of sales) which print the order inside as its being rung in. The way the tab works is that you give the person you credit card, they swipe it through the wireless POS (not piece of sh*t) and "Autherize" the card. This will save your card where the server will print out a reciept for you to sign and include tip (if desired) and return to the server. The server then enters the tip but does not close out the entire card, thus leaving it open to charged to again for future orders. This tab system can also be done at the bar but they require you to stay at the bar and close out if you have to get up, otherwise you will still be charged and a preset percentage tip will be added.

I do believe they stopped, or are planning on stopping the half day rental simply due to the amount of time it takes to change out a cabana leaving not enough time for the second group to have the full 4 hours or so to enjoy. Remember, all servers, pool-side, cabanas, and bar except tips. If you like the service, be kind enough to leave a dollar or two.

I don't believe anything will change due to this. They aren't directly involved in making the decisions here, just the issuance of the money.

Its on the map. You just gotta be really small to play.

While they may have gone bankrupt, they are still building... under new ownership. They are basically no longer doing the off the shelf cookie cutter rides which they pre-manufactured and kept in storage, hence the roughness. 1)WDW is building the vekoma mine train "Expedition Everest" set to open in 2006? 2)Toverland in the Netherlands is building the new "Booster Bike" which is a new concept from Vekoma, set to open this year 3)Bobbejaanland in Belgum is opened a Vekoma Family coaster this year called "Okidoki" 4)Magic Springs in Arkansas is built a SLC this year, yeah a cookie cutter 5)Cypress Gardens in Florida is building a Family Suspended much like Runaway Reptar, as well as building a junior coaster by vekoma 6)The list goes on with already started projects for 2005 and 2006 in other locations. The company is not gone.

I do believe that PKI Police is a sub-district of the Mason Police or Warren County Police. Sorta like how there are smaller police stations throughout Cincinnati, like on University St. in Clifton, while these are still Cincinnati Police.

These park police in the black shirts have been in the park for years. They are nothing new. I work with them almost every day dealing with theft and other things that need the police involved. Thats why they have full time police on property.

I do not put my hands down at all except for on the second lift of Beast. I love riding in the back of the train on the left while going through the helix and watching everyone in front of me drop their arms when they get to the tunnel while I still have mine up. Occasionally I'll ride closer to the front on the left and keep my arms up and listen to people comment about how close my hands got to the tunnel.

Because most people under 16 don't have some sort of identification card.

The coconuts heads are $9.99 on a regular day. That does not include the drink you put in it. But like a sports quart, you can bring it back with you everytime you come and just pay for the drink or chill around the lake like half the guests last saturday said they would be doing with theirs.

You can buy them at the Wally's Walkabout Pub located adjacent to Dundee's Outback Shack (formerly Sharky's Eats). We however got them for free while at the media preview.

All time best is definetly Days of Thunder. Whats greater than the end when Tom hits it into a lower gear to "take em high"? Your chair flips back and if you time it right and like to make people look at you weird, you can flip you legs way up over your head. Its the best part of that ride and most movement/entertainment of any I've ever seen.

Of course its doctored... stupid me forgot to focus before hitting the auto timer. Figured that way no one could "really tell" if it was Paul Hogan or not. Sure keep making up excuses... what are you talking about I'd never...
-
Haha! We never took that photo never!
-
Well, weird timing. The work on the sign started today with vertical construction. Check out the "Home" page for the news I posted at about the same time as the last post.

You're right Shaggy, Psyclone does have the better lighting package. While Delirium looks cool at night while sitting still, it wouldn't have hurt to put a light or two on it somewhere.

Wow, I'd love to ride a launched woodie. Where is this ride?
-
I believe this is restricted to only certain areas of the park. I've known that it was going to "be available" but didn't know more about it or when.
-
If that is the case, the poles that go into the ground are still inplace, they only took the railings.
-
Did you want them to move the wave pool and everything over?
-
The queue lines are still there, well the poles, but not the railings. The center was filled in with concrete, so the queues just end into a wall.

I've never paid to do it cause I always get free passes since I'm special. I would pay for it now that it is $10/person. It scares the crap out of me each time and thats cool. Out of the 5 times I've done it... I've never pulled the cord. I always make someone else do it.

That trail that is gated off is the old service roads that went around/behind the Animal Habitat. Its gated off cause there is nothing back there now and no reason for any employee/person to be back there.
