Those are never planted this time of year. Its just too cold out to plant them. If you ever notice, they usually don't appear until the second or third weekend when the temp starts to level off and get warmer, instead of the fun flucuations like we've been having.

No, its prone to happen because it was "EXTREMELY COLD" and the attentance was "EXTREMELY LOW". Why keep the park open for a few people when it costs more to run everything than they are bringing in with sales.

Yes, power went out across the area for a minute. Parents called me to say the power went out at home in West Chester so it wasn't just KI. Thus wasn't just limited to Action Zone. This caused everyone to go food stands to eat, which of course we were having problems due to the power outage as well. I was quite suprised by guests reactions to this problem. Someone asked me if they could complain to get free tickets for another day?!?! What the heck? You already had free tickets today knowing it was the park dry run day and you want to complain to come back free another day?!?!? What's with people.

I'll go with Sparky's answer and the fact that KD is near DC so they get lots of "problem groups" in the park, not sure about the other parks. Thus the earlier they get them out the better. It could also just be that over the years they found that not too many people are still left in the park on those late operating days that it is just not worth staying open and spending money on the labor to do so.

Wow.. way wrong. Only 2 loops which are part of 6 of the inversions on the ride. You make a 90degree turn off the lift then drop into the first drop which may be about 60degrees, roughly.

I've noticed a lot of tree trimming, no tree removal from the park.

Its not breaking the rules when they actually say... yes you can take the camera on. Uhh... then why did I almost ride on Face/Off last year with Jeff who was escorting a group of students from Miami University who had a digital Sony Video camera. Their camera was not mounted other than a hand strap (that I could see) and it wasn't the first ride they had been on. Too bad the darn ride broke down. Robb... Wow... did someone not read all the info about the parade before? That the parade will be rotating to all parks, and will be at PKI from mid-July to mid-August.

Wow Scooby, you typing has become extemelly bad.

Its abbreviation really isn't just CDBB, its CDBBWR, everyone is forgetting the "waterpark resort". Whats the point in making an abbreviation if it isn't short, of course everyone is just going to call it BB and drop everything else.

If you've noticed, neither the Inn or the golf course have "Paramount" in front of them. Also, the new self storage around the corner on Columbia was called "Kings Island Self Storage". They just can't use the Paramount name since they aren't Paramount.

If they were going to put it back, why would they have taken them out and put them so far away? Its not like they were in the way of getting construction equipment through there cause they were on their own little slabs. Only time will tell.

The stands ("bleachers") have been moved out to the employee softball fields. Since they are positioned with one on each side of the field, I assume they are staying there and not coming back.

That looks pretty cool but I'm hoping it looks more like PGA's sign.

Answers: 1)Gold pass basically gets you parking in a marked off area, unless its full, so you don't have to go searching for spots far away. Plus whatever is listed at http://www.pki.com/tickets_gold_pass.jsp 2)Not aware of any discounts at the camp ground. 3)Obviously the new attractions in the kids area can get long lines. Scooby Doo and the Haunted Mansion had +1hr lines almost everyday. The hotter days the Wild Thornberry's log ride gets long lines as well. The rest move pretty quick. 4)As stated above there are prefered parking for gold season pass holders. However, staying at the campground, you can take the shuttle to the main gate since the campground is right next to the parking lot. 5)Crowds in the past have been pretty small in the waterpark over the last few years. However with all these new improvements and the "resort" service of lounge-side serving and other amenities and attractions it is expected to be very busy all summer. 6)Coupons, don't really know. I haven't been a season pass holder in seven years since I work there now. Though, I can say over the past few years, the amount of coupons we receive in food service has gone down tremendously. I know there are the meal deals now, but they are only good at certain food stands during certain months.

Enough of the insane, obvious, made-up, crap. It really does get annoying. Closed.

Amen brother. The train could be so awsome going around the park under SOB and through part of the parking lot. Or just put in the new Monorail I've been wanting through the International Restraunt and around the park.

Run from HB over to the tower, down to Tomb Raider/Beast.

I was there opening day of Tomb Raider. I do believe it closed down so many darn times that I said "Screw It" and just left. Never got back in that line to ride until the end of July.
