Indeed, along with Six Flags Over Georgia, Kings Island is perhaps the least flat-rided theme park in the country.

We have lost a lot of flat rides in the last 10 years or so. Flight Commander, Skylab, Flying Eagles, and they are a few more. I really miss all 3 of those rides.

How about a ride like Skyhawk in X-BASE, along with a B&M invert? The invert could be green and black themed as aliens or something.

KI,KD & probably some of the other former PP parks really do need some more flats though as well as a good hyper & invert.

Yes Canada's Wonderland has one, it's called Sledge Hammer, I rode it back in 2003. It was an okay ride, but it didn't give me the thrill that I thought it would. And I do believe that it has and does suffer with a lot of downtime.

Similar but it wasn't made by Huss. It isn't as big either. I didn't ride it though, don't know why but I didn't.

No. Cliff Hanger is their top spin. Shockwave is a different flat.

Oh I was thinking of something else. The way he said Spinner I was thinking of Shockwave. Yes it's Cliff Hanger and it was cool, I got soaked on it.

KI definitely needs more flats. I'm really not sure what they need though. I think one of the more underrated flats is Condor at Six Flags Great America. Imagine Shake, Rattle, & Roll, but the arms don't tilt and it goes about 60 feet in the air. I think that's a very fun ride, and if they made something like that, but about 150 feet tall and with arms that tilted like Shake, Rattle, & Roll, that would be a really thrilling ride I think!

The one at Cedar Point is one of the very few remaining. The ride is difficult to maintain and frequently has low ridership. I can't imagine Cedar Fair (or anyone else) buying a new one, though I could see them moving the one(s) they have. Maybe. This ride, like Demon Drop, falls into the category of "If you like them, ride them while you can, as the day is coming you won't be able to."

Looks to me like an S&S Sky Swat. I've never been on one, but they look insane. One of those would be one hell of an addition to X-Base.

I've been wanting to ride a S&S Skyswatter, but beings as the one I know of in the US was moved from Astroworld to Six Flags New England, and is now being removed from SFNE, I don't like it's chances.

Chaos has been a hassle for Cedar Fair, I believe they had two seperate instances with that ride that were made public about injuries, so I doubt that.

Hopefully we get some flats from GL.

Chaos has proven to be quite unreliable but still was a good ride for the thrill value.I believe that there was some sort of restraint issue relating to a design flaw that led SF to remove them though...the one at SFA was plauged with mechanical problems & would get stuck mid cycle quite frequently.

The S&S Sky SWAT looks very borning to me. I never ode one and wouldn't go out of my way to ride one either but if one was there and had a short line I would ride one. A chance CHAOS would be freaking sweet. I am always sure to ride this one a few times every trip to Cedar Point.
