Knoxville Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 I was waiting in a 2 hour line for Drop Zone and I was going to go in on the next cycle and the man behind me wife (wasn't in line) walked all the way around the que with beer. She gave it to her husband and hopped in line. The ride op said something to them and they got mad, and chugged the beer, than gave it to him and got on. It was rather interesting. Quote
PKIDelirium Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 In line for Beast late last season, I was on the ramp to the station, looked over and saw an operator doing a lousy dance ont he end of the platform Quote
thejoker8388 Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 i had to stand in line over an hour for sob while the people in front of me were making out like there was no tommorow. I'm not sure if it was funny, but it was surely interesting. Quote
Coney_man Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 In a 2 hour wait for SOB, the weirdest thing that happened was somebody smoking through their nose, i was laughing my butt off so hard...... Quote
DeliriumDreamer Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 I've seen lots of weird stuff, so I won't even go there. *If you do happen to catch a female ride op singing or dancing at slingshot or Delirium, it's probably me. Quote
Beastdude1 Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 I was in line for TR TR about a week ago and after a 45 minute wait I get to the final chamber and the lady behind me asked why is there no scooby doo stuff. Quote
KIBeast Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 The funniest thing I have seen was this year, although it did not happen in line. I was coming back from the hotel after a good downpour of rain. My sister, I, my niece and her friend were walking on International Street when I saw an employee sweeping up a squashed frog. Don't know if it was really funny, but it was something I had never seen. Quote
Knoxville Posted September 23, 2004 Author Posted September 23, 2004 Kinda makes you wonder how it got squshed. Another thing, didnt happon in line but still was funny. You know those Coke carts that have 5 dividers in them filled with ice and 20oz's? Well one time they were rolling a full one and it ran over a storm drain. One of those wire rims completly broke and the thing fell over. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 I was in a 45 minute line for Deliruim and some girls behind us were yelling but, finally my cousin turned around and told the to shut the :censored: up. Everyone turned around and looked at us as if we were aliens. Then they conutined to sign the rest of the line. Quote
KIBeast Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 True Knoxville, I did wonder how that happened. Maybe he go squashed when everyone was either running for shelter or their cars? Quote
Ben Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Two girls making out in line for Flight of Fear... Nothing "weird". Quote
LongLiveBEAST Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 In line for Beast late last season, I was on the ramp to the station, looked over and saw an operator doing a lousy dance ont he end of the platform Dude your a bum, be quiet. Dancing rocks and if thats how BEAST crew gets their GOOD GR's then thats how we get them. Quote
KIBeast Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 Sorry, I agree with LongLiveBeast. People complain when ride ops aren't entertaining, then you complain when they do. You can't satisfy some people. Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 There's still a fine line between being entertaining and being annoying. Quote
Alien Seed Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 I got one, sort of. It was funny to me anyway. I was in line for tomb raider last weekend, can't remember what day. The line wasn't that long, just outside the cave entrance, and, a few people in front of me, a woman had a beer. She got all the way to the preshow room with it. There were two employees in the room and they both spotted it, but it seemed they were just going to let her finish whatever she had, then take it from her when they let everyone in the ride. When the door opened, she hid the beer in her coat and tried to run in with it. One of the employees stopped her, took it, and she appeared very mad. I just thought this was funny because of how dumb people can really be, though to be fair, she obviously had no idea what she was about to sit down on. Quote
Captain Picard Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Two girls making out in line for Flight of Fear... Nothing "weird". I seen this, it was last year when I saw it. I wonder if a man could have got in on it. Quote

beastdude Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 I have a couple good ones. I went last year during cheer leader competion weekend. But I got kicked in the head by a cheer leader trying to do a cart weel down my hotel room hallway/ 1, While in line for SOB a gropup of all star cheer leaders were in fron of me and behind me. It ends up that one took first place and the other took second. For an hour I had to hear how one girl can't do a double back flip and this guy can't old up any weight. It was actually really funny and really annoying. 2, last ride of the night on Delirium to cheer leaders get in behind me One of them was holding their mouth. i asked her why she told me she dropped sombody and her tooth is broke. so for another hour she told how dangerous cheer leading is. She asked me whereI live and I told her toledo. With all seriusness she asked wht is it like to live on a island. I bust out laughing. This was the funnies time I had in line thanks for reading Quote
