A case of an employee saying the darnest thing... Around 1pm, on a rather busy day, a deer was running through the park, close to where Diamondback is now. A security officer happened to see this, ke

"I felt so unsafe on The Beast, like after that first drop, every part of the ride felt like it was going to break apart! I am not doing that again"

"Does the Diamondback go upside down?"

"Don't ever trust the KI ap for ride wait times!  Ever!"

-Out Limits line employee, very enthusiastically.

Maybe that was a rookie mistake on my part, but after a brief shower, the ap said there was no line and there was already a 20 minute line.  Not much I know, but still.

How I feel guests usually are. (Specifically when driving after the park closes)

"They have to rebuild The Vortex every year because it's built on a mud slide and slides down every year!"

Yeah, I took my phone into the park with me when they added ride times. It was so inaccurate that I now leave my phone in the car. "Drop Tower wait is 15min? LET'S GO!"....90min later we're getting off the ride.

It can be really inaccurate but there has been times where it hit the nail on the head. I wish it updated more often as that's what causes a lot of the inaccuracies.

I still use my feet and eyes to determine wait times. Very occasionally I will look on the app to see if a ride across the park is temporarily closed, if I think about it. I know that wait times can vary widely fairly quickly, due to fluctuations of the crowds.

"I know some people have actually passed out from the thrill and exihilration of the launch on Thunderbird, its happened before!"

-A very nice The Legend ride attendant!

(Calling Thoe124 about the other one!!!! :) )

A certain employee at the park who was in a disagreement with me, "it's a giga, Don confirmed it..." Okay

Guest 1's Boyfriend:  That's what they used to call Milenium Force before they changed the name

BavarianBeatle I love your profile pic, National Lampoons Vacation, is one of my all-time favorite movies.

While in line for Invertigo: "They would totally be able to run 2 trains on this! They'd just have to put them both on a lift hill, let one launch, and once it gets to the other lift hill, the other would launch!" Her friend brings up this point: "How would they get off the ride?" She responds, "They would take those stairs! *points to set of stairs on the lift hill* Obviously!"

P.S. I may or may not have been her friend.  :P

Before, during or after her comment? :)

If you mean when I said it, it was during. (I had to interrupt.) If you mean when we were friends, before, during and after. I was taking her to KI for her 2nd time, and she hadn't rode Invertigo yet. In case you're wondering, she enjoyed the ride greatly.  :D

Hopefully I answered your question correctly, even if it was a joke. Hehe  ^_^

While not at Kings Island, someone onced asked me "Does Super Duper Looper go upside down?" I just shrugged my shoulders and said "maybe".

While Super Duper is a company that makes speech therapy materials.

My seatbelt broke only two times while I was riding blue racer!

I've had quite a few arguments with people as of late.

"Invertigo is the fastest coaster at KI"

"TTD is the tallest, and fastest coaster in the world"

What a bunch of KaKa!

It's like a wooden coaster but it's not a wooden coaster!

-In line for The Beast

Double post that's warranted.

This should be labeled under "guests do the darnest things"

Literally just saw somebody take off their shirt while riding Adventure Express. Nobody noticed. The guy put it back on before he went to the station.

Wanted to feel the air I guess :)

Silliest thing I've seen on that ride was earlier this season. Two boys, presumably to show how "cool" they were, spent half the ride with their belts unbuckled with the end held high in the air to show it off. Ooh, yeah, no rules can contain you *rollseyes*

That's why there are locking belts in the kids area and I have to let some teenager poke me with a hex key to undo the belt haha
