While I was in Planet Snoopy yesterday, the ride op at Linus Launcher had to tell someone not to remove their shoes while the ride is in motion.

As someone born in 1987, I sometimes wonder the same thing about me....

Hey! In 1987, I was older than you or Vortex are now!

As I was in Action Zone near Banshee on Sunday,  there was a family and what looked like to be a 16-17 year old young man, trying to get his mom on Banshee,  she looked like she was a little tired and the heat was getting to her,  he says "Come on mom,  its not that bad,  it doesn't go that fast"!!!  lol

But it doesn't.

 

Banshee goes 68mph

 

Delirium goes 76mph

 

Diamondback goes 80mph

 

So it doesn't go THAT fast. He wasn't wrong. But he also was wrong.

Everything is relative.

Especially Moms.

True,  also what he views as not that fast and what his mom views as fast are different.  She looked like she really needed to relax.

I was with a friend at the park yesterday who asked if they ever figured out what to do about The Vortex because it was sinking.

I held in my laughter and explained that it was never true. I don't think she believed me

Waiting in line for Boo Blasters, there were two teenagers. The first teenager said:

"Hey this ride isn't Scooby Doo anymore."

 

The second teenager got out his phone and started playing the Scooby Doo theme song, then he said

They've changed the name so many times.

When I first came in it was Top Gun then it was Top Flight and now it's The Bat!

I heard this as a reason for why the water around The Beast is no longer there. Was hard to not laugh at the thought of water suddenly causing the structure to sink afte rnearly 30yrs of being there.
