I beat you by a few seconds with the link. From now on, when you post an article like that, it is helpful to post the link. I`m not sure what the resolution is on your monitor, but I certainly couldn`t read the article until I found it on their website!

8 days out and a change in the weather forecast.

Weather.com now shows a high of 62° and a low of 42° and mostly sunny with a chance of precipitation of only 10%.

Expect a packed park if that forecast holds out.

^^Which still proves the fact of how unpredictable the long-range forecasts are. I still believe Wednesday morning will be the earliest time to have the best accuracy.

My sister and I are coming on the 1st of May - it's a Friday, do you guys suspect that the park will be really crowded then? I was hoping to get some of the opening day rush out of the way and go on a week day.

I`m not certain, but I believe that may in fact be the first Math and Science Day. Which means there could be lots and lots of school kids there!

The writer did write a lot more on the Indiana parks than SFKK and KI's portion. I realize this is the INDY Star not ACE writing the article. I would say the introduction of Diamondback is a lot more news worthy that IB's free park admission this year, but I might be partial to KI.

I will say though, IB is where I rode my first coaster (Galaxy) after being drug up to it by my parents with me crying and screaming. I got off and rode it again. I still really enjoy the park.

Yes, they still sell the 8GB as far as I'm aware. Last time I was at Walmart they were selling it. Aslo, I personally don't like the new Shuffle. I think it is too small and it has virtually no buttons on it. I think Apple has finlly went too far on one of their products.

Plus if you go on may 1st you can meet up with gatorhead and others since he is planning a trip that same day...

Click on his forum, Unofficial KIC road trip.

Sorry i do not have the link for it.

I haven't been around lately...

What is this "Diamondback" ride?

I thought KI already had a runaway mine car ride?

I just saw a part on News 5 about DB and KI opening.

They were showing pictures of the UNCOMPLETE track.. -_-

Also, they said that it opened April 19th

I think it'll be funny when people are going to be turned away on the 19th.

Well, the commercials that KI has been airing on both the radio and television the past few days have been making a big deal about the park opening April 18th, and being closed Sunday April 19th.

And yes, the local media can be quite horrendous at times. Yesterday, WCPO (Channel 9) had an article up where they said "considered" instead of what they intended to say which was "concerned."

the news should look for spelling errors or grammar correction, or word use before airing these articles and suchon the air.

Watching local news can be amusing.
