Dieseltech20 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Taken from said facebook page "Just was driving by and the time I grabbed my phone to take a picture of it. Trees were covering up the ride. If anyone lives near it drive by it should still be there, I saw it yesterday. And the tarp is most likely covering up the brand new tracking they put on the ride from the snow that is hitting the tri-state area right now and all through out the night , so the wood can settle." http://www.facebook.com/pages/Save-Son-Of-Beast/313135991408 Quote

Dieseltech20 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I'd hate to see how much tarp they use when building a wooden coaster during the winter. Wait, wasn't SOB built in the winter? Quote
Mr. Coastermania Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Would google earth show anything?Im going to look just to see. Quote
jrose530 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Would google earth show anything?Im going to look just to see. No! Google earth gets a update every 2 years. On my way home tonight I will drive up there and get a photo if I can. Quote

The Interpreter Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 There are those who were for TARP. There are those who were not for TARP. And there are those who would just like to forget about TARP. Would a TARP here be part of a troubled asset relief program? Or not? What's the incentive? Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 So, did some one get a tent confused with a tarp? Those tents are no where near SOB. Thanks for sharing jrose430! Quote

KIfan73 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 How great would it be this time of year to load a motor home full of fanny-pack wearing amusement park "guests" and lay on the horn at the entry gate until someone came out? Quote

Colonel_SoB_fan Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I feel like I drove by those tents a lot this past summer, I wonder if they ever took them down? They are setup in a rarely used section of the BB parking lot Quote
teenageninja Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 The tents were definitely NOT there the last day of the season. Quote
Cody Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 The tents were definitely NOT there the last day of the season. KI rents out its parking lot for events. Sometimes you'll see car shows that take place there too. Quote
TH13TEEN Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 ^ Its a car event... Better known as "Tent events." Quote
