It doesn't have a light system yet. All of the lights have been removed of the Giant Wheel for a while now.

They're shining a lights onto the Giant Wheel just like what Kings Island do with the Eiffel Tower at night.

Kentucky Kingdom says that they cleared this space because they needed more space for the new coaster and a few other surprises.....I believe this is the area where Road Runner Express once stood...

The concrete pad behind the queue at the right of the pic is indeed the spot where Road Runner Express once stood. (Look for the dumpster) However when they say they cleared the area, they actually mean the space in the rear of the photo. That is where, until recently, the loop and spike of Greezed Lightning was. Of course Six Flags removed Road Runner a long time ago... but ed Harts group just finished removal of Greezed Lightning. Also, to the left of the concrete pad is the area where the Skyfler once stood. It was removed shortly after Six Flags vacated, as it was only leased. In the bottom right of the picture in front of the queue was the entrance plaza to Road Runner, and the footing at the bottom middle was the anchor for the themed entrance to the attraction.

I think they installed wood that was already primed to be painted and then they painted it red. That's the only thing I can think of...or it was an oopsie....LOL

They have not started the new coaster yet. All they have done is remove the GL track. The station, overgrowth and filth still remain.

I have a feeling the 2014 coaster will end up being a Maurer Söhne sky loop. Mostly due to the low cost and small plot it takes.

Well if anyone had ANY doubts about Screamscape's credibility they should be squashed now. He's saying that he believes that Ed is "kicking the tires" on Time machine at the old Freestyle park. The only credibility to that is that it's 4 feet shorter than Chang was/is so it would fit the height restrictions. But it's awfully dang big to fit where GL used to be.

I don't believe this is going to happen but it is possible. Where greezed lighting was located is a huge area of space. Road Runner is gone, sky coaster is gone as well. and at the opposite end There was once a huss rainbow ride. That is three areas of open space. The only ride left in this area is the Tin Lizzis, which can be modified.

I can't see Greezed Lighting station being used for a B&M.

That area has much lower height restrictions...

I'll say no more than 200ft at that part of the park.
