May 19, 201214 yr http://www.visitkingsisland.com/rides/Soak-City-Water-Park/Soak-City-Volleyball-League Well, this is interesting!
May 19, 201214 yr I thought when they said they were installing volleyball courts they meant that anyone could play for FREE not pay some pathetic fee.
May 19, 201214 yr Author I assume you can, when they're not in use by the volleyball league, which is only on weekends.
May 19, 201214 yr Wow, how will they track those that are there for the league, are the sand areas outside the gates. Also it seems a bit unfair if you wanted to come on a weekend and wanted to used the volleyball. I so see this place becoming a 2nd gate next year.
May 19, 201214 yr Author I never really did like volleyball... Is there ANYTHING you like about Soak City? I suspect that the fee is there so people don't sign up then never show up...
May 19, 201214 yr Wow why should KI even attempt to get some of their money back on their investment? All people do is complain about the small stuff.
May 19, 201214 yr Most leagues where there is a field/court to maintain, a person to referee/officiate, and prizes/end of season event charge money - not sure why KI would be any different.
May 19, 201214 yr Wow why should KI even attempt to get some of their money back on their investment? All people do is complain about the small stuff. Yeah, they should make KI and everything in it free.

May 19, 201214 yr No there is nothing What? Confused Terpy. Please refer to above post of "do you like anything about Soak City? Then i replied, no there is nothing i like, until i find some BB items. (which is very very unlikely to occur)
May 19, 201214 yr I sincerely doubt we'll see all the volleyball courts occupied at all times every weekend from June 16th to August 19th. There are literally dozens (if not hundreds) of sand volleyball courts in the Cincinnati area, so there are plenty of options available for those interested in the sport who want to play in a league. I imagine the park is trying to keep things flexible for those who are interested,

May 19, 201214 yr The insides yes out, no BB1 who sorra is andwas at SC I will try and translate this best I can: The slides yes out, BB1 who is sorry and was at Soak City?
May 20, 201214 yr This is a really great idea. I joined a basketball league at the sports mall and its $500 entry fee + $25 per ref fee. I think the price is very reasonable and I was into volleyball I would think about joining.
May 20, 201214 yr I think it's a really good idea! I would join, but I'd probably end up missing half of the games.....
May 21, 201214 yr The price is actually really inexpensive. I've played in an indoor soccer league and it was around $90 per person plus $10 in ref fees.
May 21, 201214 yr It appears that most sand volleyball leagues in the area cost around $50 per person, so I'm guessing that's why they priced it at $45 per person.
