SonofBaconator Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Do you think Kings Island should introduce a small looping coaster like corkscrew or scorpion at busch gardens tampa? Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 To avoid the one word post. No. Why would they even consider building a ride that is on par with ride from the 80's? Quote
malem Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 If you want something relatively small that takes you upside down, a flat would seem more appropriate. A modern Corkscrew would be balked at by fans of big coasters and would be too scary for a kids/family ride. 1 Quote
KI-ORIG-EMP Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I enjoyed the rock-o-plane that would let you rock it upside down while rotating in the air. Americana used to have one and you see them at fairs. 1 Quote
VortexBFForever Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 ^There's also a Rock-O-Plane at Coney Island in Cincy. About the topic, I agree that any small upside down flat ride nowadays would be a bit better. Quote
Original Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Well, I would say yes. But..... I would rather have a big coaster. 1 Quote
HTCO Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I would consider Invertigo a small looping coaster... As well as Vortex to be a somewhat medium size looper. I think the smaller we go, the less interested enthusiasts and guests will react. Quote
diamondhawk Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I don't think so. Whatever Al. Back on topic, why would you want a small looper? Quote
TheBEASTunchained Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Like I have said before....I still think that it would be cool to have a Much Larger and modern version of Screamin' Demon built at Kings Island. Quote
BeastForever Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Heck no. Corkscrew is quite possibly the worst roller coaster I have ever ridden. Seriously. Either that or Sidewinder at Hersheypark... 2 Quote
TheBEASTunchained Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Small looper like Son of Beast? A steel roller coaster with the design and layout based on Son of Beast..... Not to bad of an idea....What could possibly go wrong..... Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 The loop was nearly 12 stories tall. Higher than Racer! Quote
exscream team Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 sure if they got it cheap and got something else the same year Quote
