Starting to Decode 2014

I said I would ask a construction worker. Question: "Its hot already, you don't get paid enough, how many more do you have to place?" Reaction: " A lot." Question: "Are you placing any further back in the shade?" Reaction: "Ask the park manager, coaster boy."

You should have brought a few 'buds', those are kryptonite to a construction worker.

1. I'm sure the first quote on this page didn't know it was oging to go to the next page

2. If you look on this and prev thread. It's quote, quote, quote, quote, ect. Just continue the convo, I'm sure we'll pick up on what's being discussed

3. I find it acceptabe for certain things like quoting a few pages back of if we've passed that subject for awhile, ect. But not to continue a convo

4. Moving on, anything new today or still working on the newest footers?

Must we quote people we're directly referring to from one post up..

I don't see any quotes.

What are you referring to? ;)

In defense of those quoting the post immediately above them, this thread moves so fast sometimes that by the time one types out a reply and hits "post", there may be three new posts, and you would have to go back in and edit the quote into your post, which is a lot harder than simply quoting to begin with. So I can understand doing that in this thread to defend against ninjas.

Is it out of the realm of possibility that there could be two new attractions next season? One around TA, and the old KC site, and another in the S.O.B. footprint? My phone only has a 5mp camera so trying to get an updated picture from today is virtually impossible.

Thursday update: Still no track sitting outside CSF in Batavia, other than the green defective piece mentioned already in this thread.

I'm out that way every Thursday if you all want me to still check in to see if anything is laying about...

Gatekeeper track went from the plant to the park visible to anyone who drove by (no container) so I highly doubt the containers are for this KI project....unless KI wants to really really really keep the coaster a sealed secret....

^You could of made it a little bit more clear in your initial post, but oh well, life moves on.... ;)

Oh, and just an update for everyone, still no permits visible to the public have been filled by Kings Island for track. <_<

After a long day at the park, and the past hour at home searching for blueprints, and building permits from the city of Mason archives I have come to the conclusion that this is nothing more than a dream. We are all going to wake up and there will be no footers, and nothing new for 2014. While I'm sitting here scratching my head, and smoking six packs of cigarettes, Google searching, not eating, and not sleeping. Don is laughing his ass off!

Could they have been filed, and just not made available to the public by Kings Island's request? I'm not sure how this works? Or is this project going to be so large that it may not be for 2014 and it could be a 2015 project?

I'm not sure, the last permit I found for Kings Island was a building permit for Firehawk. One filed in 2008 was sealed, obviously that was Diamondback.

Alright! Kings Island did file for a building permit in late 2012, unfortunately the content of the permit is sealed. You would need to be a high ranking member of the city to look at it. So we will remain kept in the dark until announcement day. My bet is that its going to be a thrilling addition to the park.
