YoungStud Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I have lost all interest in this new ride. Like a previous poster stated a great ride will stand on its own. A overhyped ride with everything built around the announcement is to make it more than it is. 1

thedevariouseffect Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I see what you're saying and slightly agree...I hope this new ride has a reason to have all of this hype and attention. If it's nothing new, crazy, or totally exciting I'll be slightly disappointed. However will it still be good, I would say of course, or at least probably. I just hope it lives up to everything that seems to be of this ride. Give me good new records, not "tallest loop on an invert." "Tallest invert in Ohio" ect... 4
Oldschool75 Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 It is what it will be and will be what it is. That's all for now. Things are not what they seem. 5

thedevariouseffect Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Tallest loop on an invert would be a world record...but...it's a meh record IMO I hope for a B&M prototype or something we don't expect at all, I want to be surprised and shocked. I doubt if it will happen, but honestly it looks awesome and will be, but not to the level I was with TTDs announcement, or kind of with Gatekeeper (it's world records are lame as hell).
davidw Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 EDIT: Can someone tell me how to post a picture?Make a photobucketI would suggest something that doesn't suck, like imgur or flickr 1

YoungStud Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 All these diversions is like a girl playing games. Whenever a girl thought about playing me, I would date their friend. I play the games. 8
PyroKinesis Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 How can you possibly lose interest in a roller coaster that hasn't even been built yet? Makes no sense. 9
LordSkippy Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 All these diversions is like a girl playing games. Whenever a girl thought about playing me, they were out! I play the games. What does this even mean? I'm sure things are just good the way they'll be. 1
Gabe Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Someone ought to bring a portable stereo, with 2 MP3s ready to play out loud. 1. "Celebration" by Kool And The Gang; or 2. That tuba-heavy, descending "You Lose!" fanfare from "The Price is Right." "♫ Dun-dun-da-dun, BLLLaaaaaiiiiirrrrrr! ♫" Or, along those same lines the "ding ding ding" and "submarine siren" sound effects that signal a big winner on TPIR!
Dms94 Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 You guys keep getting worked up, but any new attraction is better than an empty field of grass. Be grateful:) that is all. 14

TheGnarlyGnome Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 They look blue to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah... They looked blue to me in the pictures I have seen. That's why I was surprised at how purple the ones I saw today looked. 1
Justaguy Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I think it's going to be a haunted, inverted, log ride. Designed by Arrow and the dippin' dots guys, and built by B&M. 3
Existential Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Purple and silver or purple and light blue would look pretty, pretty, pretty...good.
medford Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I think it's going to be a haunted, inverted, log ride. Designed by Arrow and the dippin' dots guys, and built by B&M. Intamin tried the inverted log ride a month or so back, didn't turn out so well. 19
CharleyTheDinosaur Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 All these diversions is like a girl playing games. Whenever a girl thought about playing me, I would date their friend. I play the games. After the ride is announced can we keep this topic going but have it only contain YoungStud dating tips. Now that would be entertaining 7

I doubt if it will happen, but honestly it looks awesome and will be, but not to the level I was with TTDs announcement, or kind of with Gatekeeper (it's world records are lame as hell). I thought about the prototype thing, or specifically a wing rider on an inverted track, but decided based on marketing that almost certainly can't be it. They are calling it a world record breaking attraction. If its a prototype it's not breaking any records. If its a "first ever" it's not breaking anything. I think it's fairly safe to assume that and records listed on this will be of the "on an inverted coaster" or more likely "on a full circuit inverted coaster" variety.

Dom497 Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I believe those are the old trams. EDIT: Beat again.

thedevariouseffect Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 No those are the old trams that have been sitting back there for ages
